The metal is a little thin. We move ours around when we use it as we live full time in RV. You can feel the quality of the metal is very thin. What we dislike about this toaster is when on bagel setting you have to put the bagels in backwards from any other toaster we’ve used before. The price was fair, besides being a beautiful appliance, it toasts both bagles snd breadn slices. Is simple to keep clean, and with separate controls for each side. With separate controls for each side we save on the electric bill. The very best feature? The toasters good looks.

The toaster does what it is supposed to and seems to evenly toast bread and bagels. One thing to notice is the little images on top show bagels are supposed to be oriented a particular way to toast the "bread" side more than the crust. The metal seems thin and weak, but it looks nice and will probably withstand normal counter top use at home. We bought the silver "stainless" finish model and the print beside the three buttons is basically invisible. The text is small black print on a bright silver background and I need to lift the toaster up to see the text. ... show more

No hidden crevices to hide crumbs, unplug upside-down over trash can and a good shake. Powerful, halfway is pretty dark on toast, poptarts about 25% on dial...no more! Not too bad for a somewhat cheap toaster.
