The package the table arrived in was damaged in shipping and the hardware for the table was missing when I received it. It took 2 attempts by the company to get the replacement hardware to me but it is together now and looks great. Good response by company for issue of missing hardware

I just finished putting the set together. I am more than pleased with the purchase. My husband and I looked for sets for a month. We looked at high end, low end, wood, polywood, metal, glass and on and on. The problem is we didn’t “love” anything that wasn’t on back order for 3 months. So we opted for convenience, price and speed of delivery. Delivery was quick-ish. The table set comes in 3 boxes. The chairs arrived in 3 days! The table took over a week. The packing was better than expected, using foam, cardboard and bubble wrap to secure the parts. I noted only one area of shipping damage as the bubble wrap had ridden up in one spot and metal was rubbing (see picture). This however is totally fine. I plan to touch it up. The boxes were all easy enough for me to move without my husband. I put all of it together myself. I have average to above average skills with using tools. TIP: if you have access to power tools, USE THEM. We had a battery powered drill w screwdriver & ratchet. This helped immensely as did a hand socket wrench. It took about 20 minutes to find/size out the tools needed. Then husband left because I don’t need a supervisor, and I began. I read the directions and separated ALL of the parts/hardware. The first chair took me about 30 minutes, each chair after about 20 minutes. I had no issues with holes not lined up etc. everything went together perfectly. The table took me about an hour, was a little awkward with the legs. Again, following the directions, everything lined up perfectly. Only hardware issue was one fastener/Allen bolt didn’t have an opening for the Allen wrench, solid on both ends. Out of over a hundred pieces one minor issue. Had left overs of everything else (washers etc). Set up, assembly, clean up and this review took about 4 hours for one person. Note I did also put together an umbrella stand in that time too. The table surface is perfect, the chairs are sturdy! We love it. Not sure how it will weather. Hope this helps! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Initially, I liked the product because of its design. I give 5 stars. For assembly, 3 stars. Product defective, 2 stars. I posted a few pictures. But the chipped paint is on 4 chairs and the table as well. Please, if you like to see more pictures of defective product, respond to my feedback. Also, a few pieces seems like something is inside the chair handles that make noise! I would suggest that, if you like to buy patio furniture, don’t buy this one. The other issue is that, you deal with a third party in China that you have no way to talk to over the phone. All I asked the manufacturer was sending me touch-up paint to paint the chipped paint and they refused. The manufacturer said, will send me an email to the pictures and I never received an email. I sent several pictures of flows on their product, yet the manufacturer denied they received the pictures and blamed that, some problems with Amazon system doesn’t allow sending the pictures. My point was, how much it cost the manufacturer to send small paint! Besides, I didn’t want to buy myself incorrect paint. Buying from a third-party is a pain on.... Save the hassle and buy the product sold and supported by Amazon. Amazon representative was kind and very helpful and followed up with several phone calls to explain what to do. In conclusion, I gave up contacting the manufacturer in China to help. Please let me know if you wish to know more about this product. I will gladly share it with you. Good luck! ... show more

This 5 piece set arrived in 3 boxes. Boxes were quite beat up, but product seemed to be okay. First of all, the instructions were terrible. Instructions showed the parts list and then a few very basic drawings. There were no words. There were no helpful hints such as does a particular assembly order work better. I put 2 chairs together first and it was miserable. There were uneven spots where the screws attach thus preventing them from sinking all the way. On two chairs screw holes were not machined properly and again a screw could not sink all the way. These chairs are rated to hold 350 pounds, but in my opinion, these deficiencies will significantly lower that rating. (See photos) This was day 1. On day 2, I put together the table which was relatively easy AFTER studying the items to understand the flow. Again the instructions were lacking. On day 3, I tackled the last 2 chairs. I decided to attach the seat bottom to the back first and loosely set the screws, then attach the arms. Once I got the 2 screws tightened on the back, I tightened all the other screws. This process seemed to work better, but was still a challenge and fitting things together was not a smooth process. I feel that this assembly is not for the inexperienced. ... show more

Chair legs were not drilled to fit the screws provided the hole needs to be deeper. No way to remedy I cannot use the table without the chairs. Paid $200.00 to have it assembled and it cannot be assembled. Please advise.

I just finished putting the 4 chairs together. It's winter here, so I decided to wait. It took a total of 5 hours just for the chairs. They are very attractive and sturdy. All of the pieces were there. On the negative side, there are sharp burrs all over the back surfaces. The seats and backs are unusually small , so regular size cushions are way too big. And, MOST important, the chairs are NOT STACKABLE!! If you plan to store them in a garage, or shed, you will need plenty of space. It will be a problem if you plan to buy covers for them. I don't know how the open weather would affect them. Also, they are SMALL! A large person would be a tight fit. Actually, they would fit a child or a small person. ... show more
