Luckily these plants arrived today when we were having a warm day. Our temperatures here have been going up and down like a roller coaster, day to day. Today the temperature was in the mid sixties at mid day. Now at almost 11 p.m. it is 32 degrees and snowing. LOL. But they were packed so well that I think they would have been fine if it was 32 and snowing out when they were put on my porch, at least for a few hours. Sturdy cardboard box to begin with, then a layer of folded brown paper like butcher's paper weight, then a layer of strips of crinckly cut paper about an inch deep, then the 20 plants lined up inside just like the picture shows, each in their own pot, and HEALTHY and fresh looking, not one withered leaf, no spots or defects, nothing broken, a tiny bit of soil was disturbed and on the leaves of two of the plants. The instructions say to brush that off with a soft brush but as I was going to water them and set them in a tray for a day or two until I'm ready to put them in permanent pots for display, I just rinsed the dirt off those two while I was watering the whole bunch. I am a tiny bit disappointed that I didn't get one of the dark maroon spikey plants, but they don't guarantee the exact assortment each time. That is why the price is so reasonable. Maybe next time! Yes, I am sure I will order more plants from this seller and do recommend them. There is nothing more annoying than ordering plants and having them show up puny, sick looking or too wet or dry and suffering from the lack of care. None of that with these big healthy plants. Some of them are putting out the "baby" plants like succulents do. I love these. ... show more

I was in need of some variety, and more color, in my succulent collection. I’ve been slowly growing and propagating what I have, learning all I can, and that, along with some other plants and cacti, kept me busy enough, for a couple of years. Now, that I know more, and feel more confident, it was time to expand my collection. This was a great deal with Altman, 2 of each plant, 20 total plants. I was very happy when I received my new succulents! They were packaged professionally, all looking in need of water, of course, but all of them healthy as you’ll see in my photos. I carefully let each one soak up water from the bottom and they are all repotted and looking beautiful so far. (It’s been almost 2 weeks)! These little succulents are absolutely adorable, and 2 of them have orange flowers. Which is going to be a fight tonight at our little crafting club. We're painting flower pots and planting succulents in the pots. The price of these plants were on point for everyons very tight budget. They are perfect. $1.08 a succulent, perfect pricing and perfect sizes. The assortment is great. We will be buying again, and I wonder what else this store has to sell. These Altman Plants assorted succulents were a great value for a 20-pack and arrived mostly healthy and well cared for. The packaging was secure and prevented major breakage during shipping, which I really appreciated with live plants. A few leaves had dropped on arrival, but that’s pretty typical with succulents after transit and they recovered quickly once settled in. The variety was nice with a good mix of sizes, colors, and textures. While a few of the selected plants weren’t ones I would have personally chosen, the overall assortment still felt balanced and fun to display. The planter pots were sturdy and the cactus/succulent soil mix seemed appropriate and well draining. After a short adjustment period, the plants perked up and are growing well indoors. For the price, quality, and quantity, this set is a great option for decorating, gifting, or starting a succulent collection. 🌿 Quick Care Tips: • Let plants rest 1–2 days after arrival before watering • Place in bright, indirect sunlight • Water only when soil is fully dry to avoid rot Overall, I’d definitely recommend with the understanding that minor shipping stress is normal for live plants. ... show more
