  • Incredible Vacuum
Style: Pure ONE S15 Pet EX
The media could not be loaded. Hands down this is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned regardless of style corded or cordless. I have owned various Dyson and Shark models in recent years and many vacuums for the past 30 years and this one not only my new favorite but the best one all time. Pros: Very little maintenance- this is a big deal as most vacuums require time spent removing the roller and fighting all of the hair and anything else that has wound onto the roller. A lot of vacuums claim to have a design that prevents tangles but the Tineco has one that actually works. Every time I look at it I am amazed there is nothing, I mean nothing to clean off the roller. Design- The vacuum tube has nothing to cause snags. What I mean by this is when you look down the tube that connects the roller to the motor it is just an empty round tube with no bumps or narrowing. Some Shark models have obstructions used to store wiring components that narrow the tube diameter at one end which causes a ton of clogging. That is a major Shark design flaw which has frustrated me many times as the whole tube would be filling with dirt. The plunger to remove the dirt is awesome. No more digging your hand in to clean out the bin. Just plunge and go. I will never bust another vacuum without this feature. The auto speed control is ingenious. The machine can sense more dirt being collected and increases power until the dirt collection returns to normal levels. The display is also nice as you can visually see it increase speed going from blue to red gradients when more power is needed. Just amazing! The charging station- well designed to hold the extra tools and will charge both the battery in the vacuum and the one plugged directly into the base. I highly recommend the two battery version. More to come on that point. Most importantly it cleans the floors well. I have a big carpeted area on our lower level and the remaining house is hardwood floors with areas rugs. There are no roller changes. Just vacuum and most everything gets picked up and very clean. Cons: In the auto mode the regular suction is not as strong as some other vacuums. This is good and bad. One this saves on battery life, but at the expense of picking up stuff. I would say that I need to rollover the area sometimes more that I would with other vacuums to get everything clean. It is not the best at picking up big items or heavy particles. For example it struggled with popcorn kernels and just ok with Cheerios. Weirdly it was good at picking up pine needles from our Christmas tree.. I had other vacuums fail at this before, mostly getting clogged in the tube. If you turn off auto you can vacuum at the high speed all of the time but that will wear down the battery life quickly. The price is high but you are paying for a high quality product I personally think is just better than Dyson. In summary this vacuum will clean all of your floors well, super ease to maintain and clean, and the features like the snag free roller, plunge dirt removal, auto speed are incredible. If you have a small apartment then you could get the one battery version, but I highly recommend the two battery version with the storing station. I have a 2800 sq ft home and I need both batteries to finish the job with little to charge spare. This vacuum is a joy to use and I high recommend making this your go to vac. ... show more

  • Outstanding Vacuum, better than Dyson
Style: Pure ONE S15 Pet
Wow! This vacuum is awesome! As a Dyson user for many, many years, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and power this vacuum offers! My gratitude to the reviewer called 'This guy', I really appreciate the level of detail that reviewer put into the comparison with the Dyson model. First, Dyson is a very good brand, but I had so many issues with its trigger switch that kept breaking, and Dyson does not sell a replacement trigger, so the only alternative it to buy a 3D printed one. After the 3rd time the Dyson switch broke, I started looking for an alternative and read reviews for a few days before deciding on the Tineco. It is well worth it: super quiet, strong suction, easy to clean, lightweight but not cheaply made, fairly long battery life, it is very well designed. I love how the switch powers on the motor, and you don’t need to keep holding the trigger switch like the Dyson. After using the Tineco for 6 months now, I can honestly write that it is by far the best cordless vacuum I have ever used. I have the S15 pet model, and with multiple cats in my home, this vacuum can easily keep my floors, furniture and chairs fur free! I highly recommend getting this if you are in the market for a new cordless vacuum, especially if you have multiple pets; it is the ultimate in easy cleaning! I will be buying the spare battery, but that is mainly because with multiple cats, frequent vacuuming is a must. If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would! ... show more

  • Love it! Wish I had this for my last vacuum!
12/23 - Still loving it (so much so that my mom bought a newer model to replace her Dyson that wouldn't hold a charge and she couldn't purchase replacement battery) but the vacuum head is broken, the rubber wheels eventually broke off in pieces until the were completely gone, and the latch holding it to the shaft/tube has broken and won't stay connected so it's unusable. One of the two plastic pins that is part of the plastic connector that fits in the holes on each side broke off so that's why it won't stay on. I'm not interested in purchasing a whole new vacuum when the rest of it works great. Hopefully I get a response and an able to purchase a replacement head. Will keep you posted. The vacuum isn't very heavy feeling in my hands or in my back, neck and legs. I usually have to switch holding it back and forth because even though it's light, to my body it feels heavy sometimes, which is why it's awesome that you can not only pull the trigger for it to work but flip a switch and it stays on without you having to do anything else. It has a turbo boost that will also stay on if the switch is on. Awesome if you need a little extra suction on an area rug. It also works great on my outdoor "carpet" on my decks. It also will give the regular setting a boost if it senses the area being cleaned is a little more dirty. It has a face on the top that senses when the filter needs to be cleaned and other stuff as well as a light that turns from blue to red if it senses more dirt in an area when vacuuming. There is an app that shows you information going on with your vacuum performance. I installed it, checked it out and then uninstalled it. It's really not essential and does nothing to make its job easier for you to use the vacuum. Checking filter is pretty much a given, isn't it? I don't want pretty bells and whistles, I want a vacuum that kicks @$$, that does what it's supposed to do without breaking the bank. I didn't realize it would come with the filter suction cleaner accessory and I ordered one as well so now I have a spare plus I ordered a couple extra filters. The removable filter tube thingie that holds the filter is so awesome! Put the dirty filter in the cleaner, put a clean filter back in vacuum cleaner, turn it on, turn the dial thingie on the edge of cleaner to turn the filter and between the little brushes inside the tube and the turbo boost you've got a clean filter! Dirt will eventuality pack into the corners of the canister. Just clean it out with some compressed air but make sure you do that outside! The long skinny brush attachment is great for cleaning small or tight places you couldn't get by hand and to clean out bugs from inbetween the screen and window when cleaning windows. It's also the best at cleaning your heating/air duct area under your vents. It then gives you no excuse to not clean the vent covers since they're off anyway! Just be careful and don't forget the vent cover is off and fall into it with your foot and leg like I've done more times than I've got legs! The short brush attachment that has a larger sized opening (different then I've ever seen before!) and it's great from everything to dusting collectibles, dusting ceiling fans and the air return vent cover! Only thing is extra batteries were sold out (the wall caddy that holds/charges the vacuum and some, though not all accessories, has a space for an extra battery as well!!) so I guess I need to check and see if they have any yet. I would buy this again, one of my favorite vacuums I've ever bought. I wish the cover for the containment canister was a little more secure, mine has broken and even though it still seals, sometimes it gets dropped into the garbage can when emptying the dirt. Now if this vacuum was as smooth moving as a Dyson (it really does, I love using my mom's, I thought about stealing it) with the on switch you can choose to lock on that this vacuum has with a fair price (there's no reason these little vacuums should cost as much as a decent fridge or washer and dryer, a car or mortgage payment). Even though I don't think this brand should be as expensive as it is, (I have a $40 upright canister vac I've had about 15 years now and it still works great and even though it has a hardwood flooring setting it doesn't do that well on non carpeted floors. Which has led to my hunt for a great vacuum that doesn't cause me pain to use. I shouldn't hurt the 2+ days after doing the floors) it's cheaper than a Dyson but cleans as well as the Dyson, that's the reason we got this one. I'm still happy with it, but wouldn't turn a Dyson down if I received it as a gift lolol UPDATE 8/24/22 I forgot to mention that in order to get under furniture without the head tilting, bend down and turn your hand 1/4 turn and it will lay flat. If you1/4 turn left the head will want to go left, same with the right turn going right. So you can get underneath furniture that doesn't have great clearance, you can get how ever the highth of the head. I'm able to get under the dressers that have that gap at the bottom. AND BTW - I'm still loving it and I'm glad I got the extra battery with the added bonus the spare battery holder on top of the wall caddy also charges, so when I've had to use turbo extra or I've just been vacuuming that long (it's amazing that the teenager never has to change the battery the whole time she's vacuuming the same floors I am lol), I pop the charged battery in the vacuum and pop the dead battery up top so it'll be ready the nextday or even later the same day depending on how long it's been charging. I honestly don't know how long it takes to charge. Guess I should look that up so I can time it every once in a while to see if they're still maintaining a charge and if not, how fast is. That would be good information for a future update! ... show more
