Perfect daily or every other day light vacuum. I have a shepard/husky mix and need c o n s t a n t vacuuming for hair. This is just right for the frequent hair patrol. I follow it up with my regular heavy duty vacuum on the weekends. It’s mechanics and accessories are so well thought out. Light, easily maneuverable, easy to clean and store. It transitions between floors and low pile carpets well. It automatically responds to different surfaces with different suction. It seems to keep its charge well for what I need. I’m glad I took a chance on it.

TL;DR: Bought on sale cyber monday, should've bought a spare battery then. Go ahead and get a spare battery for the deeper cleaning days! I can normally cover ~2800sq/ft (hard to guess tbh, not sure how big the downstairs is, but it does account for most of the house, and is mostly tile/hardwood) in 25ish minutes and be fine, but if I've been lazy and the cats have been shedding, one battery won't quite make it (but it'll be close). I really like this vacuum! Other things of note: If you run it wide open (max suction) the battery will last maybe 10 minutes. You do not need to do this however unless the situation calls for it. let it decide. You need to clean the dust filter often (This goes for many vacuums, not just this one), I normally do it after every full-downstairs vacuum because it comes with a spare, and it'll normally be dry by the time I want to use it again. Takes about 1 minute total to clean, so there's no reason not to do this. That's it. It's a great vacuum for what I wanted it for, light to medium duty frequent use so I don't have to bust out the plug-in dyson and drag that thing all over the place. For carpet heavy environments, you want something plug-in period, this is not a great main unit for a carpet heavy environment. For all hard floors it would be great. We have 3 cats and two small children, so there's always something that needs vacuuming and I wanted a reasonably powerful cordless vac to hit the proverbial high spots, and this more than meets those relatively low requirements. As stated above, I can usually cover the whole downstairs on a single charge, occasionally if there's excessive crud (because someone hasn't been running it regularly) I have to grab the second battery, or if we're doing a more deep cleaning around the furniture and pulling stuff out from the wall, it comes in handy (think multiple canister dumpings and what not). It's very easy to break down and clean.. I probably should've read the instructions but nah. I have not clogged the dust filter to a point where the vacuum constantly runs in high vacuum mode (this is a complaint I read about from other users), and I keep it clean to avoid that situation. This is something one should do with their corded vacuums as well, as it greatly cuts down on the available power if neglected (and causes a higher instance of dust circulation rather than capture). The included tools are mostly helpful for the situations that require them, not much else to say there. I don't see the point of the dust filter cleaner attachment since you'd just be clogging up the other filter, instead I wash them by hand in the sink by running water down the middle (backwards), and let em dry til the next use. easy peasy.

I was excited about this purchase but less than a year later, I am finding this appliance does not last. First impression: The good The suction was great and I loved not having to deal with a cord/plug The light really seemed to help find dust as I vacuumed Emptying the dust bin is a little awkward but not terribly difficult. The bad I was disappointed in the wall rack for 2 reasons, first it did not hold all of the attachments. Second it was not a charging base. This was my mistake I suppose but when looking at the photos ir appeared to be a charging base; however, the charger is a separate cord to be manually plugged in. Second, I was irritated that the base was not set up to hold all of the attachments, very disappointed in that because keeping the tool organized was important to me. Maintenance Every time I used this (approximately 2x a week to supplement my Roombas' daily runs) I would empty the bin, remove the filter, rinse and allow it to try before the next use and plug in to charge. Recently I noticed that when I would run this vacuum there was less in the bin and started to notice that it was no longer picking up as much. I then checked for clogs (none) and checked the suction and it is very weak now. I realized that maybe it needs a new battery so checked the price on those and it is $80 bucks for a new battery, So now I have to decide whether to spend $80 to keep using this underwhelming piece of equipment or purchase another machine. I believe a product like this should last longer than 9 months Decided to go ahead and purchase battery replacement. This battery is just as weak as the one I already have, now I have 2 batteries and a worthless vaccum. So disappointed because this was a splurge for me to try to make my life easier and I am very let down.
