*Customer Service update* As promised here's my update regarding my experience with Tineco's customer service. Their Customer Service Reps are patient, attentive and very friendly. I've interacted with about 5 or 6 of them and each one of them made the experience pleasant. The best way to contact Tineco is through the chat feature on their website. Emails take on average 24 to 36hrs for a response. Phonecalls are tricky as well. I think some are located overseas so there is the timezone difference to consider when calling and when you do get a live person they recommend the chat. 🟩 The Chat Is very convenient and quick. They emailed me a return shipping label once I supplied proof of purchase, the serial number of the machine, a summation of what happened and pictures of the damage. I shipped back everything they requested and they shipped me a refurbished machine ( their refurbished machine tend to be machines returned though the machine has no defects). I was skeptical but once I received the replacement machine I was satisfied. 🟩Shipping + Cost Tineco provided a shipping label at no cost to me. The replacement was shipped once they received my machine NOT while mine was in transport as stated. Overall it took about 2.5 weeks to return and receive the replacement. 🟩Replacement Machine It functions well so far mechanically and has no noticeable defects, scratches etc. Perfect condition. 🟩Overall Tineco gets an A+ for customer service! They were friendly and helpful. They also checked with me via email and phonecall to make sure the machine met my satisfaction. **Original Review* I like my Tineco. It does exactly what it promises to do. Its light weight & takes up very little space. Its also easy use and clean. I use it on average 2 or 3x a week. I bought this version because it has a ( nice, very long) cord. I like to go over surfaces repeatedly and don't want to feel rushed because of the battery constraints of other models. I purchased this machine as gifts for family and finally bought one for myself Dec. 2023 since my family like their machines. 🔸️Cleaning Pros: This machine maneuvers easily. I love the steam clean feature. It picks up everything leaving my tiled floor sparkling. Its also wonderful on wood floors too. 🔸️Cleaning Cons: My only complaint is that I do have to clean corners by hand. This machine simply cannot reach those areas but there are newer models that can. Again I bought this model because of the cord. Its now Feb. 2025 and unfortunately just when I was about to use it, the base inexplicably just crumbled and the empty Dirty water tank fell off. The machine is still under warranty. I contacted Tineco and so far it seems promising. This is the tool we had been missing! With lots of hardwood floors and 2 dogs we were constantly sweeping (fur and outdoor stuff) and mopping (paw prints). Cudos to Vacuum Wars for testing this out against dozens of other Aand recommending it over moser expensive options. It arrives in a single medium sized box and requires a few simple steps to assemble. Plug in the handle, remove some packing cardboard, then you’re ready to fill the water tank and get to work. It does require a bit of technique. I found that working backwards produced the best results, otherwise working forward resulted in my leaving footprints in the freshly washed floor. Key points about this that I really like: 1) doesn’t use any soap. Just add tap water to the tank, turn on and move the handle down and wait for the counter to get to 100. It takes about 1 min from cold to be working. 2) clean up afterward is really easy. Tip out the shockingly dirty water, rinse out the tank and pull off the plastic strainer to get rid of the larger chunks. Don’t forget to rinse the roller and roller cover. I found the the dog hair was sticking to these areas and would also get stuck in the connector between the roller and tank. That’s pretty easy to clean out though, although not really discussed in the short instructions. 3) comes with a second roller so you can swap out if you’re doing a marathon cleaning session 4) works ok on rough stone floors. We have slate tiles in the entry way and they are rough finished. Not ideal, but it works and is still better than a wet mop. The 1 thing I’m not thrilled with, but isn’t a deal breaker, is when you’re finished and turn off the unit, it tends to leave a dirty, wet streak where the roller contacts the floor. Easy to wipe with a paper towel, but just be aware this happens. Otherwise, it’s a great time saver and the floors are now consistently clean with not a lot of setup or clean up. ... show more

My new Tineco works great! I have all tile floors with just area rugs in a pretty good size house. I’m older and if not careful can have back problems. Dragging my old heavy vacuum and separate mop/streamer was cumbersome and so time consuming! It wore me out. With the lightweight cordless Tineco One S7, cleaning is a beeeze. I actually like using it versus dreading the old way. I can finish my whole house (2500 sq ft) without recharging and it truly gets my floors cleaner because it sucks in the dirty water instead of just spreading it around like other steam mops.
