Thus far, I have only used this mini chainsaw once. I cut down about 10 wild mulberry trees in my backyard, which keep trying to grow in my perennial gardens every year. This saw was perfect for this job, since most of the trees were no more than 4" thick at the base. Each battery lasted only about 1 hour before it ran out of juice. The saw got stuck a few times in the trunks of the trees when the battery started running low. The saw doesn't cut nearly as smooth or fast as the commercials show, but it gets the job done faster and easier than a hand saw. You can only use one side of the saw to cut a stump down the the ground, because the saw sticks out several inches where the motor is on one side. This saw is not left-handed friendly. The safety switch is on the left side of the handle, making it difficult for a left-handed person to press down on it while simultaneously pressing on the trigger, which is necessary when first starting the saw. Ordinarily, for a right handed person, the thumb would be by the safety switch and your the trigger finger would be on the opposite side of the handle by the trigger. This makes it easy to press down on both the safety button and the trigger at the same time, when you initially start the saw. You don't have that benefit when you use your left hand. Your thumb will be nowhere near the safety button. It will be on the opposite side on the right hand side of the handle instead, so you won't be able to easily start the saw left-handed. I had to start the saw right-handed and then continue to press the trigger to keep the saw running while switching hands in order to cut left handed. It is not ideal for left handers, but it is typical. Most of us are forced to adapt or become ambidextrous.

Has issues. First off just got it today. It cut pretty good BUT...The safety button doesn't need to be pressed. Just pressed the trigger and away it goes. NOT VERY SAFE!! Also while cutting, the battery kept falling off. The lock button on one of the batteries is stuck down and can't get it to come back up. Tried to contact the Tietoc website and all I get is some kind of gambling site. Trying to tell Amazon this but seems I may have to send the whole thing back. Basically just need a battery replacement, hopefully can live without the safety button.

I bought this for clearing trails around my property. Cutting branches basically. Overall I'm pleased with it. But it does have a couple issues. The batteries are good, but the gauges always read full. Until they are dead. The chain oiler works until it gets dirty. So clean it regularly. And mine seems to run whether or not you push the trigger release. But it cuts. Its a little jumpy, but that's because it's light. For the money, it's a good little tool.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this item!!! Recently moved to a new house with lots of trees in backyard. Constant falling branches. Knew I would need more than just pruning shears to manage the trees. Purchased mini chainsaw from a name-brand company that is well known for their power tools. Hugely disappointed!!! It arrived unassembled with only a vague paragraph for instructions. I've never even touched a Saw, so didn't know where to begin. Tried to pull up instructions on YouTube. In doing so, saw a video on this TieToc mini chain saw and decided to return well-known brand and replace it with TieToc. FABULOUS decision. Came fully assembled and included a booklet with very clear and easy instructions, told me what type of oil to add, how often to add oil, and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Very light weight and easy to operate. Tried it out on a 2-inch branch and it sliced through like melted butter. Tried it on a 4-inch branch with the same result. For the experienced chain saw user, you may not be as impressed as I was. But I am a 65-year old lady using a chainsaw for the first time and I found this to be very easy to operate, very safe, and performance was impeccable. Can't say enough good things about it. Love the easy carry case as well as the extra battery, extra chain, and all of the other extra accessories. Excellent value for the price. As an added bonus, Seller hires disabled workers, so it's a win-win situation for everyone. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

This is an amazing battery chainsaw! It's excellent for cutting small branches and saplings up to two inches diameter. The chain becomes loose more then I like and I took a star off for that. For the price of this saw, it's a deal.
