This is a GREAT minichain saw. I bought it to do some major cutting on my smaller hardwood trees. I cut up about 15 branches that were 4 inches thick. This saw cut through the dead hardwood branches like they were butter! I could not believe how well this saw performed. When I was done, I checked the battery - ALL 4 BARS WERE GREEN. It hardly put a dent into the battery charge. This is an excellent buy with the 2 batteries, 2 chains and the 2 guide bars. They also include an oil tube, gloves, safety goggles, screwdriver and brush.

This is a powerful little tool. I've had it for about a year now, and I've used it at least once a week--sometimes every day. So, durability and reliability are excellent. It's great for cutting smaller fuel for my wood stoves, and I use it for pruning trees and bramble and for forest trail maintenance. It usually cuts sticks/logs up to about 5 inches (13cm) very easily. When the log is too thick or dense, the motor gets overheated and shuts off. The saw works for a good amount of time on a fully charged battery. I haven't tried to measure it exactly, but it's on the order of hours. For best battery longevity, I try to replace the battery before it completely runs out and try to stop charging before the battery is full. There's a button on the battery for checking how much charge it's got. Charging is easy and fast. After about 11 months, the charger died. I reached out to tietoc through Amazon, and tietoc sent me a new charger right away. Outstanding customer service and warranty support! The chain quality is very good. They have lasted for several months of use before getting too dull for a good cut. Once a chain is too dull, there's no need to try to sharpen it. Replacements are cheap and easy to attach. The price is fantastic. I've seen the single battery model for as low as $30. If you plan to use it for extended cutting sessions, I recommend this 2 battery model, however. I'm going to buy another one as a backup. I think I'll get the new model with both 6 inch and 8 inch chains. Be careful with this saw. It may look like a toy, but it's a powerful tool. I've only used this once but here is as honest as I can be with my experience. I used this to cut off 10 stumps and ALL were really larger than the saw is supposed to handle but it did so with no problem. Only issues were the saw would stop several times during the cut and I'd have to clean out around the chain or just wait for a few seconds and it would start back up. Not sure but, my larger cuts could've been the issue. Either way, the saw cut quick and clean, just took longer due to mentioned stops. Charger worked great and charged fast, except, the indicator light on the charger stopped working after the first charge so it's a guess if the batteries are getting fully charged or not. Other wise, at this price point, not sure you could do better. Impressive little saw.

Small, cute and powerful enough to do the job. I am 67 and used it on low branches of my crab apple tree and lilac bush. No effort at all and job was done. Well worth the purchase.
