This car cover is almost perfect. It's easy to put on and the wheel straps are easy to tie. They stay put in high winds too. The long strap in the middle of the car needs a weighted end, so you can easily toss it under the car to the other side. Otherwise, you have to have 1 person on each side to hand it off to. No, thank you. The car cover has 2 pockets, 1 on each side for your mirrors, which helps keep it place. I also love the zipper on the driver side door. It makes for easy access, just in case. It also has reflective stripes, which is nice. Definitely waterproof, great quality and holds up to strong winds and rain.

I bought this cover specifically for my Camaro because the listing shows a Camaro and says it’s made to fit. Right away, it was obvious that it doesn’t fully cover the car; it leaves about half of the rims exposed, which lets dirt and debris get in. The “multi-layer protection” claim is a total exaggeration. It feels like two VERY thin layers. The thickness is comparable to that of toilet paper. The so-called “soft cotton inner layer” isn’t soft at all and will absolutely scratch your paint. I wouldn’t trust it on a windy night where it could rub against the surface. I returned it before it could cause any real damage. I think some people leave good reviews just because they don’t know what to look for in a quality cover, but if you genuinely care about your car’s paint, do not buy this cover.

Feels like a decent quality cover however the fit leaves a little to be desired as it barely covers my entire 2008 Convertible mustang. The front and back is covered but, on the sides the bottom of the doors is slightly visible. Also the clasps that run under the vehicle to secure the cover can possibly scratch your paint if not super careful when placing the cover. I guess technically it’s not the worst for the amount of money spent, but I did expect it to fully cover my mustang which isn’t the case. I’d probably look at another cover if looking to fully protect your S197 convertible mustang.
