Features

  • No-Maintenance Ceramic: The patented ceramic disk control valve is abrasion and corrosion resistant, and is designed to last the entire life of the valve with no need for seals, spacers, or piston rebuild kits.
  • Appliance Protection: System includes a prefilter for sediment reduction, while the water softener protects against hard water and eliminates scale buildup to extend the life of appliances like the water heater, washing machine, dishwasher, toilets and showerheads.
  • Automatic Control Valve: The metered softener measures your water usage and only regenerates when you actually need it. It also has built-in automatic bypassing during regeneration, and simple easy to use programming.
  • Enhanced Cleaning: Notice brighter, cleaner laundry, healthier, smoother hair, and softer more moisturized skin. Soft water improves the effectiveness of soaps and detergents by removing calcium and magnesium minerals which bind to detergents and cause soap scum allowing you to use less soap for a better and more enjoyable cleaning experience.
  • Specifications: The Compact 32,000 grain softener is filled with 1 cubic foot of high quality 8% water softener resin, and is built for tight spaces with a 10x39 main softener and compact 13.5x32 salt tank.

  • No more hard water!
Size: 32,000 Grains (Compact) Style: Water Softener
We have well water that is of excellent quality across the board for iron, sulfur, mercury, bacteria, etc., EXCEPT for hardness where it literally measures off the chart (the test strip color was darker than the top of the scale at 425ppm). This hard water has made our laundry come out feeling "crunchy", caused our soap dispenser door in our dishwasher to repeatedly stick shut (thus not releasing dishwasher detergent), leaves white spots whenever I wash our cars, clogged up our coffee maker, yields pore tasting water for drinking and, of course, clogs up our shower heads and faucets. Now we have good tasting, soft water (somewhere between 0 and 25ppm, if not completely eliminated -- hard to tell with test strips) and we no longer need to regularly spend the extra money on all the water softening laundry and dishwasher products and bottled waters. Some reviewers state the instructions are hard to follow, or that they did not receive instructions on how to use the automated pump. The instructions I received were clearly laid out, with accompanying pictures, that walked me through the process to piece the system together; I had no issues at all. The instructions also included directions for programming the automated pump -- the only issue I had was regarding the initial start up of the system upon plugging it in the first time. The instructions stated I should see a specific code when first plugging it in, but there was no code displayed at all; I figured out I had to go to the menu and scroll down three times to show the code. Other than that, the entire setup process was very easy. The instructions also provided a schematic of how to plumb the softener into your home water supply. My setup was slightly different due to the orientation of the way I had to install the filter, so while the schematic is absolutely accurate you may need to tweak the layout a little bit based on your own system install orientation. I plumbed the system into existing household PVC pipes; PVC is very easy to work with and much simpler and quicker than plumbing into copper pipes. If you are not handy, I do not recommend you plumb the system yourself, but if you are handy, doing the plumbing yourself will save you several hundreds of dollars in labor costs. ... show more

  • Great Experience
Size: 32,000 Grains (Compact) Style: Water Softener
The water softner installed with a few minor problems that I'm sure we're my fault. The water softner immediately solved our rust and mineral problems. Very good quality. CUSTOMER SERVICE was terrific, as good as I have had. If I were looking for a service rep she would be hired on the spot. Super job!! ... show more

  • Five stars plus softener.

  • Easy to install, digital controls confusing
Size: 48,000 Grains Style: Water Softener
This softener setup shipped and arrived quickly! It was easy enough to install, and we noticed an almost immediate improvement in water quality. However, programming for the digital control valve wasn't intuitive at all. The YouTube video ended up being more helpful there than the printed instructions. Also, it seems the flow meter on our valve isn't working. We double-checked the water meter impeller and probe, bypass knobs and inlet/outlet connections.... Could not get it to acknowledge the water flowing through the system. For now, we currently have it programmed to regenerate about every other week, since it's just two of us in the house. Hopefully we can figure out a fix! Seems to be a good value for the price; saved us thousands. ... show more

  • Cheap resin beads
Size: 48,000 Grains Style: Water Softener
For the first 2500 to 3000 gallons this worked well, it is set to recharge every 1500. Now that it’s been about three months and it does not soften at all, totally from cheap resin beads. No wonder why these things are so inexpensive save your money. This one’s going in the dump.

  • Great product, great company
Size: 48,000 Grains Style: Water Softener
During transit, the shipper noticed an issue with the large tank (the actual softener) and "refused" delivery due to damage on my behalf. Without even asking, the company got in touch with me to let me know a replacement had been dispatched immediately. Excellent service before we even got the unit in the door! Compared to whole house systems found in most big-box stores, this system is an absolute beast. The softener alone weighs about 160 lbs and is as tall as some people. The brine tank looks like a scaled-down version of an outdoor trash can. Considering the size, it takes up a lot less real-estate than you'd think but isn't designed to move around - once installed, its pretty much there forever. Though I had ours professionally installed along with some other plumbing we had done, the plumber said the instructions were clear and straighforward, and something most homeowners or DIY'ers could figure out easily. I'd suggest getting 5-6 40 lbs bags of salt to get it started. Great company who stands by their product - highly recommend. ... show more

  • Excellent technical support
Size: 64,000 Grains Style: Water Softener
I purchased the 64,000 grain softener for our residence because our water hardness is above 70 grains. Because of the high hardness, I contacted technical support after about 2 weeks to make sure all the setting were correct. The technical support was excellent and instructed me how to setup the unit to perform optimally with the very hard water. The unit is now working properly providing water with less that 1 grain of hardness. The unit is well built and the documentation is good. I assembled the softener and used a plumber to connect the main water lines. ... show more
