So the smoke doesn’t seem to drop easily into the glass. But if you tilt it it fills up much faster.

We bought this for my son's birthday and along with tourch and a proper butane refill supply. It worked great. My only negative is that this "kit" should include the tourch and the refill supply of butane. Overall we're happy!

Was Christmas gift to add to my home bar. Used several times and did not disappoint. Enjoyed a smoked old fashion. Delicious. Plan on buying a variety pack of wood chips.

    • I'm not that impressed...
I've had several smoked old fashioneds made with the smoke guns at restaurants. I bought the Foghat in lieu of buying one of those and not impressed with the taste. I'm using the chips (barrel oak bourbon) that came with the gun and purchased the cherry chips that foghat offers and neither give a pleasant flavor. I've watched several videos and followed the instructions provided and it really just comes off with more of a burned wood flavor. Another thing that I don't like is that the design of this product has the chamber where the chips go down in the glass. That makes it hard to use in a regular cocktail glass with an ice cube in it. I have had to resort to smoking the glass with the drink in it and then adding the cube after I remove the top. Bottom line is that working with multiple configurations, I have quit using it as it does not offer a pleasant tasting drink. I'm in almost $100 for the torch, foghat and chips and really just wish that I had bought a smoking gun. ... show more
