I purchased this to replace a 12 year-old scanner. It functions as described and has a good compatibility with the different cars I have analyzed. My biggest issue is that it is slow to recognize a vehicle and the menu options are not intuitive. I like the report and history function.

Bought this after my generic scanner read some codes, I replaced what the small scanner said was wrong but kept having problems. This scanner pulled the same codes but told me in more depth what it thought the issue was. I took the advice of the scanner and have had no issues since. Love all the features, still learning fully how to use it.

The ThinkScan 662 is a solid scan tool for the price. It connects instantly to the OBD2 port and reads/clears codes for engine, ABS, SRS, transmission, and more. The 5" touchscreen is responsive, menus are easy to navigate, and live data graphs update in real time.

I don't understand what all the hype is. This is just an overpriced scanner. You can buy a cheaper one that's does the same thing. Ended up returning it and getting a better scanner for less than this one. Cant say which brand I bought after this one, dont want to get flagged but it's has better functions than this one and cheaper. FYI this scanner will not read BCM (body control modual) codes.

Everything it promised, it delivered! Right out of the box, easy to set up, update and use. Used it right away on two of my vehicles without a hitch. I cleared up several issues that I had trouble identifying using a cheaper OBD reader. You cannot beat the price and quality of this unit. Totally recommend for the weekend warrior garage mechanic!
