Nicely designed diagnostic tool. Powers on quickly and boots up faster than other diagnostic scanners I have tried. Much quicker than the Topdon I tried and sent back. Scanner was quickly able to read my vin. Something other scanners sometimes struggle to do. Though I have just begun to explore the scanner , so far I've found the interface reasonably intuitive and straightforward. I absolutely agree with other reviewers that at this pricepoint they should include a case. I purchased a 9"-11" tablet case for $8 ( TiMOVO 9-11" Tablet Sleeve) Its a perfect fit and is just the right Size to hold the scanner, data cable and manual in an easy to carry case. Wish it had a handle but it offers excellent protection and was very inexpensive. So far I'm impressed with the speed and usability

Well,, worth the money, updates are free for the diagnostic scanner, You do need to have Internet access for that. You also need Internet access to initially set up the scanner… there’s also an online community for this device, which will help you out with questions regarding repairs. IN my 38 years in the auto repair industry, this is the best diagnostic scanner I’ve seen available to the general public…!

It’s advertise as bidirectional but it never worked. It frequently fails to connect to vehicles, live data freezes or won’t load, and many advertised functions simply don’t work. I wasted a lot of time because the tool would not communicate correctly or gave incomplete information. It may be okay for very basic use, but it is not dependable if you actually need accurate diagnostics. I ended up returning it

Works better than my previous brand scanner. But I should have bought the 668b has more features. Also I think I was giving a used scanner plenty of scratch marks and there was no plastic protection.
