I wanted to get a treadmill for home use due to several medical issues that make exercise elsewhere difficult. I did a TON of research before ordering, and selected another brand based on that research. It was DOA, and although the seller was very helpful, ultimately it could not be fixed. I got a refund, and my search began again. The brand was LSRZSport, and it came with good reviews and great packaging. However, it did not work from the jump. The reviews have gotten worse since I ordered. I get it. HELPFUL HINT: I needed a treadmill that fit under my couch, as I have a small condo. I had purchased new sofa legs already for the first one, just to give me five inches of clearance to store my treadmill easily. You may need to do the same; it's quite easy to switch out sofa legs, as they are pretty much standard and just screw right in. Look at yours before ordering replacements so you know what you need! Amazon has many options at many price points. The 2" height difference for sitting was only noticeable for the first few days, and we are both under 5'6", so no worries there! This treadmill was a huge upgrade at a slightly higher price than my first try. The packaging was actually not as good as the first one, and arrived torn with part of the treadmill exposed. Careful inspection revealed no damage. It set up easily and worked properly right away. PROS: It is a very solidly built machine. The build quality is high, the crossbar is very easy to lock and unlock, the device holder on the crossbar is easy to position and can accommodate a tablet, and the remote stores securely onboard. It feels solid underfoot but not hard, and it is easy to adjust speed (and too easy to accidentally change if you hold the crossbar when using). I have not tried the speakers yet, so no comment. It stores invisibly under my sofa, and although the wheels are fixed rather than multi-directional, on my hard floors it gives no resistance. It may be more of an issue on carpet. The deck size is larger than most, which is a huge plus. The jump rails are very sturdy as well. CONS As other reviewers have pointed out, the display with speed, time, and calories burned is VERY inaccurate. The timer is accurate, BUT... If I set a speed of 3mph and walk for twenty minutes, then I should see a distance of one mile. Basic math. The machine tells me I walked 1.5 miles, or 0.8 miles, or something else other than one mile. As for calories burned, it is harder to pinpoint, but after consulting a few sources, I should burn about 75 calories in the above scenario. The treadmill says 28-30. This feature is not super important to me, as I am okay with taking a moment to do the math myself, and I'm just staying mobile. How many calories you burn depends on your weight, speed, and distance. These data are not programmable on this model that I can determine. That said, if they're going to put this feature in the product, it should work properly. The other negatives: the crossbar does not lock in the collapsed position, making it awkward and borderline unsafe to roll for storage. There is no logical place to hold onto when putting it away. We are not so young these days, so safe and easy matters. It is something I consider in ALL purchases that will be affected by aging. I would also prefer the plug be at the back, but I have the proper grounded extension cord, so whatever! The motor is at the front, so I get it. The on/off switch is a bit awkward as well. It is not visible except from floor level, and it is not well marked topside, so you have to grope the underside to find it. Sum total of cons, for me, is one star. I am very happy with my purchase because it meets my needs with only small annoyances. If the distance and calorie settings are very important to you, you'll likely have to adjust your price range upward and select another model. If you just want to be more active and get your steps in with the safety of a crossbar to hold onto (vs a walking pad), then this will probably be a great purchase for you.

OK. I have been on a LOT of treadmills. I want to give you the pros and (limited) cons of this. But, hear me out. When I make a rating on a review, I'm not comparing apples to oranges. Meaning, I won't give a Kia 3 stars because I've been in a Ferrari. You have to consider what you're getting, the price you're paying for it, and the overall value. First off, this is very easy to put together. It takes some time only because screwing things in takes time. But, that said, the parts are packaged in a tight pack and you know you have exactly what you need in there. The directions are very clear on how to put this together. And.. it all works. The holes are aligned where they need to be, and all tools you need are included. So let's talk about the treadmill itself. If anyone tells you this is hard and feels like you're walking or jogging on asphalt... they're wrong. I run on asphalt 4x a week. This has shock absorption for sure. Maybe not the amount you get on an expensive gym treadmill... but remember.... Ferrari vs Kia (and Kias can be REALLY good). The controls are intuitive and clear. The fact that you have quick starts for various inclines and speeds are awesome. The ease of how this folds up and sets up for your use... unbelievably easy. A concern I had was whether this was too short on the handles to be of use. They are easy to grab on to if needed. And, the reality... is that you aren't going to grab them while you jog the whole time. They're there if you need in an emergency (think about it.. you don't jog with side bars). The only cons I have experienced so far is that the length of the belt is not that long. BUT... that is by design. This is supposed to be compact. I never felt like I was in danger of running out of room at all. Just stay moving up front. The width was MUCH easier to stay in line with than I thought it would be. Everything is bright. It was all clear. The safety has to be magnetically attached for it to start. But you don't NEED to attach/use it. All in all, I'm pretty AMAZED you can get this treadmill for the cost. 20 years ago, this would have approached 1K. Certainly, technology keeps getting better... but even if this lasts a year, you've more than covered what you REALLY use a gym membership for, right? This is like a 5-star, non-Ferrari vehicle. I'm still in shock over the quality and value you get for the price/cost.

The treadmill I ordered was: "THE RUN - TR06." My treadmill arrived promptly. I was impressed by how secure the packaging was & nothing arrived broken or damaged. Unfortunately, my treadmill did not come with an instruction manual. The product description actually mentioned that an instruction manual would be included in the product shipment. Since the product is still under warranty, I thought it should be an easy request to get a replacement instruction manual sent to me. I was unfortunately SORELY MISTAKEN in my assumption. Over a month has passed since I ordered this treadmill, & it has been a very frustrating experience with repeated attempts to contact the company after my initial call to the Amazon customer service department. I simply needed to get a replacement instruction manual-- not a whole new treadmill. I didn't want to use the product until I knew which type of lubricant was required for the treadmill's running belt to avoid any potential damage. Fast-forward to now, I have lost a month of my time, energy, & repeated efforts with numerous attempted phone calls & way too many email exchanges with "THERUN" company's customer service department representatives to be able to get access to a simple instruction manual for this product. Unfortunately, "THERUN" company has yet to ever return any of my phone calls, & the few email replies that I have actually received-- did not answer any of my 3 basic questions. It is very frustrating that after 2 months have passed, that "THERUN" company hasn't even tried to make it right by simply replacing the instruction manual, & I still haven't received a replacement. I have not received any apologies for the situation, they've never tried to go out of their way to help make it right, & there have been no offers for even a partial credit for all the effort I've had to invest in this simple request. I had originally requested to "THERUN" that I needed a paper copy to be sent to me in English through the postal mail-- because it was for my father who doesn't use computers. My Dad needed the instruction manual to learn which type of lubricant is required for this particular treadmill model, and how often to apply it to the running belt, as well as needing a reference for the basic assembly instructions for the treadmill before he used it. When a representative from "THERUN" company did attempt to respond to one of my emails, they instead tried to send me a digital copy of the instruction manual in an email attachment as a PDF file. I had been very specific about needing to receive a paper copy through postal mail, but the email attachment they decided to send didn't even work! The attachment only showed a string of unreadable Chinese characters without a way to translate it into English, and there were no pictorial diagrams as would normally be in a typical instruction manual. In desperation, I again called the Amazon customer service department (2 weeks after my initial call,) to request additional follow-up assistance. Unfortunately, I had to ask for a manager because the first 2 customer service agents I spoke with, although very nice, were still unable to help provide me with a digital or paper copy of the specific instruction manual needed for my treadmill. Also, no one could help locate a usable phone number for "THERUN" company to contact them directly after the 2 phone numbers I used never produced a returned call. The manager from the Amazon customer service department who I'd asked to be transferred to (from the second customer service agent who had tried to help,) was thankfully super helpful, courteous, & kind. The manager was the first person able to actually locate a link to an online copy of the instruction manual-- which he sent to me via email while I was on the phone with him. The email he sent me also had a readable link (in English,) to the instruction manual that my Dad had requested. Unfortunately, I now have to pay for the printing of the manual for my Dad to be able to use it, but at least I finally have access to one for him. A big shout-out & THANK YOU to my awesome Amazon customer service supervisor, Mr. Leigh, (located in Cape Town, South Africa,) who helped me over the phone on May 5th, 2025! I hope Mr. Leigh will receive positive feedback for going out of his way to help provide excellent customer service the FIRST time. Mr. Leigh provided MUCH better customer support & assistance in only one phone call. I am extremely disappointed at the LACK of basic customer service that "THERUN" company has still neglected to offer to help in resolving this issue during 2 weeks of email exchanges for such a very basic customer request for a brand new item that is still under warranty. Mr. Leigh deserves a positive note in his employee file & a RAISE for making this right on behalf of Amazon! Thank you Mr. Leigh! 🙂

After looking at several units, and talking with my daughter, I decided to order TheRun. The assembly was easy. It has 15 programs which you can adjust during the work out. The interface is simple and responsive. The automatic incline is smooth and I like being able to adjust during the workout. The belt stops immediately if the emergency clip is disconnected. I don't run but my son tested the higher speeds for running and liked it. I have a long stride and the 3.5 speed is about top for me right now. I'm 70 and this treadmill is perfect, it will keep me challenged.

What I liked - sort of reasonable price for what you get if it actually came fully ready to operate. If you've read other reviews it comes in handy. The size is good, and it's pretty solid base. What I didn't like - if you've read other reviews a guy said that it didn't come pre-lubed with silicone under the belt like it was supposed to. A total inconvenience to purchase something if it's not fully setup and you have to prep the equipment after paying for it, relocating it, and unpacking it. So, after lugging the thing into place and unpacking I read the instructions to figure out what that meant. Ours didn't come pre-greased (so to speak). Well, not so easy to do at 72yoa. The wife had to get involved and doesn't have super human hand strength. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO COME LUBED from some factory in China and it didnt. That's so inappropriate that they sell stuff that's not complete. You have to use the silicone that comes with it and squeeze the bottle, that requires super human strength to squeeze, while your husband holds up the band and you slide your little hand between the band and the base and squeeze as much as you can out of the bottle. Sooo not easy. Would be better before they put the tred on the unit. Not too hard to figure that out as that's what they say is done in the manual - NOT. The equipment seems fine. Haven't really used it yet as too irritated at the moment. I give it a 1 star for setup and 4 stars for functioning and not DOA. Will update if it changes. I'm going with the 3 starts at the moment as I'm frustrated with the quality and integrity of the company. I could return it as it wasnt right, but the next one may come the same way. Ha! No point. At least this may warn you for what you need to deal with. You will need help getting it into place as it's pretty heavy and cumbersome to move alone. Once it's in place should be fine once you silicone the underside of the tread. Have fun.
