This thermal camera was priced well and does a decent job. I tested it on the walls and windows and was able to pickup cold and hot spots as well as see the temperature difference from the studs in the walls. It also works well for checking AC vents and getting temperature readings from a distance. The various color pallets helps with identifying certain heat sources and the visual camera overlay helps with locating specific parts or areas of interest. Keep in mind that there is a bit of parallax error between the thermal and video sensors at close range. I haven't used it yet for car or electronics repair where cold and hot spots could be good indicators of issues, but from what I've seen so far, it should work well. The ability to save images and videos are also very useful, especially with the exact temperatures of the hot, cold and center spots. If you don't already have a general purpose thermal camera, this one is a good choice, especially with dual sensors and the ability to merge the images. I just wish they made the battery removeable as the handle area seem more than adequate to house one. This way the unit doesn't just become junk after the battery reaches its end of life.

Terrible camera, takes extremely blurry photos. The color palette has only one effective color s he.r that is somewhat accurate. Cheaply made and isn't worth $50.

Its ok for a thermal camera. It will show you where a leak is among other things. I used it to find a leak in my bathroom.

Seems a little inconsistent. Also, the protective flap in the front folds up and often falls in place of the camera, when in use. Not a very good design.
