I just got this today. Put it in the freezer immediately. After a syncopal ( fainted on concrete, and wrenched my neck and back ) event last week. So, I wanted an extra large size to be able to do neck and back or drape over my shoulder. The things I LOVE about this size is I can use in multiple areas, and this doesn’t sweat moisture as it is on, zero moisture which is great, because every other ice pack will sweat making for wet clothes or wherever you lay against, which is a huge factor for me. It holds the cold for quite a long time. I had used it, and had to run and errand, forgot to put it back in the freezer again. When I came home, I noticed this and it was still very cold, the time lapse was over an hour, so I am super impressed. If you need an ice pack, this one is by far and away, the best ever. It is comfortable and soft, which is another feature, it conforms to the body nicely. Highest quality at an affordable price, you will love it. It has a plastic sleeve that you can put it in, just fold in half and store in freezer until needed.

Nice and soft for my tushy & back of leg. I get swelling in my left leg, it helps keep the swelling down. Gets cold quick. Stays cold about the same as my old gel pack. Its easy to store in freezer, can be folded over to fit or lay flat. Love it!

Ordered the 9x12 and I think it's a great size -big enough for lower back or a knee, but still works for an ankle. Love that it stays pliable when frozen and retains cold temp for quite a while.
