Love this can opener. It is quick and easy to use even with my arthritic hands. I love the color too! It seems durable but I don't imagine it will last as long as the old red handled type of opener. I like it for its price point but when I need to buy a new one I will most likely go with the heavy duty old fashioned ones. Not that this one isn't good, it is but just won't last forever like the old ones. But then what does last like things used to. Love it but four stars as longevity is uncertain. Still it's a good opener and I would recommend it especially over some of the other models out there.

It's nice and sturdy, fits well in the hand, and works perfectly. I was getting tired of the electric can openers - especially when you have a tomato paste can and it just spins in circles because it is so small. This one allows me to open both ends and just push the paste through. Will buy another, just as a back up. (Because usually when I love something, it tends to disappear off the market)

I bought a new can opener because I have 2 and one opens some cans and the second one, other cans. Well, this new can opener, opens my dog food cans that have a self clip to open it but I can not do it that way because I need to get all the meet at once like a can shape. So, the old can opener was giving me some trouble so I bought this one and works perfect BUT I wanted to open a can of cream chicken and guess what? It did not work. I had to use the old can opener. My question is: are there different types of can openers to open different type of cans?
