I've been using this for a while now and it's genuinely impressed me. The build quality feels solid and heavy-duty, not the flimsy plastic feel you get from cheaper openers. The oversized turn knob is a real highlight. Its smooth and effortless with very little resistance, so you're not fighting the thing every time you open a can. It latches onto the rim securely on the first try, which is something I've struggled with on other openers, and once it's on it stays put through the whole cut. The handles are very comfortable to hold for extended use, with a soft grip that absorbs the pressure. Even if you're opening multiple cans in a row, it doesn't get uncomfortable. Been using this can opener for 1 year and 7 months. It has been amazing. Just in the last two months it no longer grips the can to puncture it. So not sure how long it should last but mine is no longer working.
