This book is very helpful in understanding the options of the equinox 800 or 600 detector. I highly recommend anyone who owns the equinox detector to get this book. Your knowledge will expand about your detector. Very descriptive on each option of the control and good advice from other detectorist. If you can overlook a few minor typos/misspellings (I can) there is a great deal of info in this book. It really “fleshes out” the owners manual. This is an easy detector to use right out of the box but to really get the benefit of its features you will need to read good explanations and get some practice. This book will provide the explanation. I read a little and take the detector out and put the new info to practice. ... show more

    • Very good book especially for beginners
Ive always wanted to get into detecting as a hobby and I'm getting closer to retirement so I bought the equinox 600. It's a little advanced for an amateur but this book really makes it much easier to grasp. Worth every penny and really saves a lot of time in the learning curve

The author has forgotten more than most of us average detectorists will ever know. The book covers every possible topic about the equinox 800 and 600 machines. You’ll gain a better understanding of the machine and it’s capabilities, and get example after example of different programs to detect with.
