The media could not be loaded. You'll need tape, scissors, drill or screwdriver with phillips, and a saw - I used a jig, with a speed blade for wood. 1. TAKE THE DOOR OFF THE HINGES. 15 mins of struggling, I went downstairs and got my drill so I could lay it flat for the cut. Girl, DUH! 🤦🏽♀️ Sooooo much easier. 2. Cut out your stencil, and tape it centered at the bottom. Obvi, yes, but I didn't have tape, and I have 17 stairs to answer to, every time I forget something. 3. CUT ON THE DISPLAY SIDE. Whichever ever side will be visible to guests. Might not matter if you're laying it flat, but you get better control from that side, so you won't have the ugly parts that go rogue like I do on the front side. I'll fix with wood filler and paint, tho. Even with jacked up cuts, and not perfectly following my pencil marks, it's still a perfect fit, and looks great. But definitely take the door off... 😅 ... show more

Our dog has now chewed off three of these cat doors during thunder storms, so I have lots of experience installing these things. I keep going back and ordering the same one because it looks so good and it's a great product. That is, assuming you don't have a nervous dog.

I love this cat door! So cute in my laundry room and classy at the same time. The only thing I don’t like is the white color, because it got very dirty very quickly I did not, however, like the cat tail on the other side so I had someone saw it off and it looked so much better. My four feline babies loved it until one of our dogs literally pulled it off of the wall, chewed it and I had to throw it away. ☹️ ... show more
