This is wonderful. I am editing because I’ve had this for a couple months now, so I have more to add. The version I purchased did not come with a roof (I was not aware) and only a piece of plastic to cover the top. It did not hold up well and within a month or so, had holes in it that leaked into the catio; and water didn’t really drain off it so puddles of gross water just sat on top. That’s my only complaint. I ended up going and getting sheets of metal roofing and drilled that on top as a roof. And now it’s fine (and more shaded/looks better). As far as the actual catio - there’s a lot of parts. But the instructions are easy, every number is done in order. My step dad and I put this together (and I am not handy) and got it done in under 3.5 hours. Probably more 3. It’s really pretty and nice sized. I still need to weather proof it but waiting until a day it’s not raining. I have two cats. One is about 7 lbs and the other is 14 lbs. They both LOVE it and fit in it well. I will say - the screen has big holes, which is nice for visuals but definitely bugs/wasps and stuff can get in there. I will see how that goes this year. But - LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I researched catios extensively before purchasing this one and I am glad that i did! This catio is an excellent quality, measurements are as listed, and it is sturdy enough for my two cats. It is very secure. All parts were well labeled and the instructions were clear and extensive. We received all parts without issue. You should be aware that it does take much longer than listed to assemble the catio well. And I say “assemble well” because if you need to take care that everything is squared and tightened well for longevity. I would plan on upwards of 4 hours for assembly and make sure you have a power screwdriver or drill to make it easier. This is, at points, very much a two person job. Ours arrived in 1 VERY HEAVY box. So be prepared to either open the box up and move things piecemeal to your assembly location or have a second person to help lift the box. I love that there is enough room for me to step inside the catio to brush the cats. Though I wish there were a way to lock it from the inside to prevent escapees. I have two cats, a 14 pound and 7 pound cat, and they have ample space in this catio. Also they can easily jump to the different levels. Be aware that the catio is NOT easily modifiable due to its design. For instance if you wanted a door or shelf to be in a different location.

I spent a LOT of time debating which catio i wanted to get for my kitty enzo. He has separation anxiety and has always had a bad issue with spraying. I had tried literally everything to try and make him stop until i realized he was most likely just depressed and sad. I took an extra space I had and dedicated a room solely to Enzo and I. It is big for the room that it’s in but i can see it being perfect for outside as well. The directions are a little hard to understand if you don’t pay attention to the design of the wood and parts, and the roof is crazy crazy heavy. the roof is made of this gritty black plaster which i assume is for the weather, but since it’s indoors i just perched the roof pieces on top. I added different cloths and mats as well as beds to make his use of it more comfortable. the bridge part is pretty flimsy, so when installing pull it taught. when assembled it feels sturdy and well made, though the wood is raw. the hole connecting the top and middle shelves is difficult for him to get to, and took him a while to learn. I added decor, a water fountain, litter box, scratch post, a leaf bed as well as motion sensor lights for when he enters. I am in love with this purchase and plan to customize it further.

My cats love their new catio! I am a 73 yo granny and it was an easy assembly as long as you take your time and follow the directions carefully. Before I assembled it I did coat each painted and stained piece with a coat of Helsman polyurethane and I applied another coat or two after it was assembled. I recommend you assemble it on a level surface like a patio or deck (not grass). I was very impressed that each piece fit perfectly together and there were even a few extra screws. You do need both a hand screwdriver and electric screwdriver. Be aware that you assemble the sides then the back section and the front section and door go together last. It is really well made and since it is on my covered porch I think it will last for years.

Everything arrived intact and had all the parts. Took me (a single woman) 2.5 hours to put it together. The instructions were easy to follow. One thing that annoyed me was that not all the holes are pre-drilled but it isn’t hard to figure out where to drill. Make sure you have enough room for it where you’re putting it together - I almost took my ceiling light out but that’s on me - because it won’t be stable until it’s completed. Once it was finished I was able to love it around no problem, very stable. So far the shelves are holding up to my 14lbs cat. The only downsides are the wood is very soft so it’s easy to damage and it had a very strong chemical smell when I first took out the pieces. I’m not sure how it’ll hold up outside as none of the wood has a sealant on it so I imagine it’d soak up water like a sponge

This was exactly as pictured & described. The company/seller could not have been better. When I asked for the exact dimensions for the houses & a few other areas they were quick to respond. When I needed the instruction manual prior to the delivery so that my Handyman could preview it, they provided it quickly. I was using it to assist my feral kitty to receive Mobile Vet care. It couldn't have worked better for the situation. When they knew the sense of urgency for the Vet care, they tried to put a rush on delivery. Such a great experience with this Seller. It offers a lot including some things I saw missing from others & it was just the right amount of space to not be too cramped for my little furry one, but not be too big of a footprint for where I needed to place it. I truly liked the idea of having a large enough door where I could just walk in quickly and shut it quickly so my kitty could not run out. Of course I had a large piece of cardboard to assist with that and a doggie fence around it when entering just in case. This is not an area I would ever keep a cat permanently because they need more room in space than this but surely it would allow for an indoor cat to enjoy the outdoors safely and for a cat such as mine to be housed temporarily. Thank you for making this such a positive experience in providing such an important & needed product. There is one area I have to warn you about which is the rickety drawbridge. It's sort of dangerous. It leaves a cat trapped at the top scared to use it and when they do try to use it like one of my cats she came crashing into the floor. She seemed to be OK but that should be sort of a sturdy ramp (not movable) or something. We thought about modifying it with instead attaching a piece of wood if it can be attached securely. That is the one improvement I would recommend. It's sort of dangerous & my one baby who is a great climber was trapped for quite a while up there. The ring camera caught the footage of how she got down which wasn't pretty

Very impressed with the quality of this. Very stable and not at all top heavy. Doors are perfectly sized. At first, I was concerned about the size but they love it. Surprisingly, the roof doesn’t leak and most of the shelves and boxes remain dry, even with continuous heavy rain. They send extra screws and bolts so if you lose one, you’re still covered. Now about the assembly process. They send basically a book with very detailed picture illustrated instructions for every step. Every part is clearly numbered and labeled so there is no confusion. Holes are predrilled and some are doweled in place. It says it needs 2 people to assemble, but it is possible to assemble on your own. It will take longer, but it’s possible. Overall, I’m very happy with the product!

We are very pleased with this Catio. It is made well and is sturdy. It took some time to put together, several hours for a few days, but go slow, read the directions and it will all come together. We reconfigured some of the door placements, so we could line it up with our existing dog door. We were surprised at how excited our cats were to try it and are enjoying the multi-level shelves. We will put zip ties on the doors for added safety measures and possibly put a protective coating on the wood. We highly recommend this product!
