The product itself is 5 stars; absorbs easily and has 30 SPF sun protection. I use it daily and the PM version at night. The pump on my previous bottle dispensed just the right amount of product and was easy to use. It moisturizes without feeling oily, and faces need the sun protection. However, I ordered it again and I'm having to do TWO returns . The first I received was shipped in an amazon box which was undamaged, but the product carton inside had a plastic outer wrap mostly missing and one of the closing flaps of the product's carton was missing (torn off) and tape had been put over it to keep the bottle from falling out of its carton. Apparently this was a damaged item that someone had already returned and was then reshipped to me. It should have been discarded, not shipped to another customer! It was obviously damaged and taped over. It looked awful and I was afraid to try to put the product on my face as it obviously was not new. I started a return and requested a replacement which arrived quickly, the next day. This time the product was shipped in only an amazon plastic bag. The bottle had come out of its carton and the carton was flattened inside the amazon bag. I would have been okay with that, but when I tried to use the product the pump does not work, so there is no way to get the product out of the bottle. I've started a second return and this time requested a refund. The product is great, but amazon cannot seem to ship a good one nor package it correctly. Not happy with that; two strikes within two days on the same product. I'll have to try to find it locally or risk reordering it again later. (It was sold by a third party but was shipped by amazon.) NOTE TO AMAZON: Don't reship damaged, defective products to your customers!

I love how this product has spf that I can feel protecting my skin throughout the day. It's super lightweight and goes a long way so good value for your money. Feels very moisturizing! As expected for a CeraVe product. The only thing I will say some people might not like about is the way it blends into my skin. It kinda has a white-wash effect from the spf that lasts not too long but enough to make my friend who used it uncomfortable. Something to consider when looking at options for moisturizer. Overall I really like it and will buy again!

CeraVe is not a brand I tend to shy away from simply because they donât offer any product thatâs particularly innovative or exceptional. This is a product that a lot of people seem to love except me. I have oily skin and live in Florida which is very humid. This product is not good for my skin type or environment I live in. For a sunscreen, it's pretty thick and I feel like, for me, it was comedogenic. For anyone who doesn't know, a âcomedogenic productâ is a term used to describe a product as something that has a tendency to clog your pores and has the potential to cause break outs. This sunscreen doesn't have an ingredient my skin particularly dislikes, itâs just very heavy and again, clogs my pores which then leads to large, irritated pimples. So... Not a fan of the texture. And yes... It does leave a white cast. In my experience, it takes about an hour for that white cast to either go away or become unnoticeable. I'm also an olive-toned white person so the fact that you can see it on me isn't necessarily shocking, but it's definitely an alarming thing to notice for anyone with a darker skin tone than me. It's not a terrible waste of money, but it is a waste of money for me. I will not buy this product again. I don't want to discredit CeraVe as a brand because Iâve seen other products from them that have helped a lot of people, but this sunscreen is not for me.
