This book helped to connect some issues I've had over the years with a 15-year old unit. More than once I've had to try to figure something out at 3am and its 90 outside. Honestly wish I had this sooner. Its written well, made easy to follow and understand for someone who doesn't know the first thing about the air. It helped fix the issue I had with the air not flowing in just 1 room. I appreciate not having to pay $100+ to have someone come out and tell me its a simple clearing thats needed or I need to get a new control. Thank you for writing this. This is a fantastic resource and should be read by anyone planning to install or upgrade their heating/ventilation system, or before buying or moving home. It has everything! Even describes the types of tools you will need if installing, or working on your heating/ventilation system and lots of very clear diagrams and explanations of every part of the system. Would be hard to go wrong with this. It goes into great detail on every aspect. There is a frequently asked questions section which is also helpful. It describes current HVAC systems and then goes on to describe 'green' HVAC systems and the move towards AI integration, aka 'Smart' systems. Good to know about this, but I would caution anyone considering this as anything 'Smart' requires total integration, so if the power goes out, or say a cyber attack, you lose everything; all power and nothing works. You end up completely 'powerless' and these days with the increasing cyber attacks, I would urge caution, but still good to know about it and the book covers that, which is good because you can be more informed if you want to go down that route.
