Just one of the trays were broken so the perch wouldn’t go on. Does not come with good instructions so it took a bit to figure out. Other than that I think it will serve its purpose which is why I rated 3 stars

Be careful because the metal is very sharp. I do not recommend kids putting this together. The instructions are very vague. I had to look on YouTube for in-depth instructions of placement. It was not hard to put together. Once we figured it out some of the metal was bent, and we had to physically bent it back, so the bolts could fit in, it came with everything including the mini screwdriver ... show more

These are nice looking nesting boxes, however my chickens repeatedly ripped the trays out of the bottom. Every day we came out to at least one tray laying on the floor of the coop. Perhaps my chickens are t-rex babies in disguise, but it doesn't feel very strong. A clip or something to hold them in would be easy enough to do and fix this issue. Easy to put together though and, maybe with milder chickens, it would work well. The roll-away design is fantastic! UPDATE: After several months I can say with confidence that these boxes are extremely flimsy. They do not even begin to hold up to the weight of a chicken, the jumping in and out, etc. Don't waste your money on them. ... show more

packaged well and very sturdy. looking forward to placing inside our chicken run / coop area for the new girls. Sept. 1, opened up and set it up. Looks great. Was a bit of a puzzle, but came together. rolls eggs nicely into a small drawer under the perch. I'll screw it into the wall of my coop, and hopefully the 5 moth old hens that are now laying will decide to use it. It's a beautiful addition to the chicken yard! Careful assembling, some very sharp edges on the metal horizontal braces. Fat one in the back, slim one in the front. Then slide the nest boxes into the slots after the legs are on. ... show more
