Works as advertised. Car make and model: Mercedes-Benz EQS works fine no trouble primary use:level 1 (maxed out at 1.7kW charging for me about 3-5 mph). Great versatility I am confident the level 2 options would charge just as well as hardwired if I had a port to use Pros: light weight, cord is great length, durable weather proof (no issues in the rain), ability to adjust amps Con: learned the hard way the level 2 capability depends on which NEMA connection you have, no wifi or app capability

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o) Our old EV charger bit the dust recently and I knew I had to find better, upgraded version charging cable for our car quickly. After searching on Amazon, I stumbled on this wonderful product that had improved durability along with better connectivity, plus selectable power settings. Naturally, I ordered it on the spot. Needless to say, this EV charger was a great solution for our dilemma, as you can't get very far without a charging cable, pun intended! ;o) This Chargingo EV charging cable is well made, and the EV connector is quite robust, a good thing. The insulation is rather thick and there wasn't any heat from the current, which gave me a peace of mind. Another plus is this cable is longer than most chargers, some 25 ft long, great for charging some distance from the garage to the car. This kit is complete with a velcro strap for keeping the extra long cable tidy for storage, and there's a nice storage bag as well. In short, highly recommended and then some! Give this Chargingo Level 1-2 EV Charger (25FT Extension Cord) a try... We needed a charger for home and one for the road so we didn't always have to unplug and put in the travel case and this one was perfect! For half the cost I now have a mobile charger to take to work, my parents house, a hotel, etc. that I can use on the road if a supercharger isn't avail. This charges the same and comes with a nice 25ft cord!

I never want to be without a way to charge my vehicle. If you have to replace a phone charger, and you want a fast one, its going to cost a little more. Sometimes I don't want to pay more. Now, if you can't charge your car, it brings panic and frustration. I don't plan on losing this one. It works great. I found it to be better than my old one. It fits perfectly into the charging port and works great. It is essential.

Obviously, everyone's EV charging needs vary but I generally prefer a more robust solution for my 'primary' home and office charging center. That said, I also like to have a servicable backup option and this charger from Chargingo is perfect to throw in the trunk for emergencies. It comes with a NEMA 6-20 plug and an adapter cable so that you can use it with a 5-15 outlet as well. It offers all of the built in protections that you expect from a quality EV charger. This includes IP65 dust/waterproof rating and the ability to withstand extreme temperatures. It has plenty of built in protections including short circuit, overheat, overcurrent, etc. It feels very well made, particularly compared against other chargers at the price point. It even has a 25 foot cable which is something you don't always find even in higher end chargers. It's not the fastest charger but gets the job done at does so at a nice value price point. Highly recommended!

It's portable but kind of heavy for a moderate amperage output of 16 Amps, but that's plenty for small EVs and what this is intended for. It's technically Level 2 so you do need the 220 plug or you can squeak by on Level 1 at 110v.
