I have 4c hair and in about 30 mins my hair was straightened. What I like about it is it didn’t burn my hair but still allowed for it to get straightened. Doesn’t do great on ends you’d still need a curling iron or flat iron for that. It’s definitely worth the investment. However just one piece of advice it to precomb/brush hair before use as it does tend to tug on curls. Go slowly when using to avoid any hair pulling. ... show more

This thing straightens my hair like I’ve gotten a perm! I’ve tried straighteners you can get a Walmart or Sally’s which does not work on my type of hair. If you have thick 4c hair like I do please get this!! You may need to follow up with a flat iron though.

Absolutely love this hot comb. not only is it super cute but it also works great! I’m used to my stove iron and I always have the issue of it running too hot a burning my hair. With the terviix, the adjustable heat ensure flatness but not too hot that you have to worry. It also turns off after a certain amount of time and I’m grateful. I’m notorious for leaving hot tools plug up and unattended. Lastly she comes with a guard meaning I can pack it up with no worries about waiting for cool down.
