My hairstylist recommended this product! I have thick hair on the sides and the back and it’s thinning on the top I have to have my gray roots died every six weeks and I have frizzy curly hair. I have been using a flat iron for years and when she told me about this it was a game changer! I have not had to use a flat iron at all and this is extremely easy to use for my type of hair that’s very layered and just past my shoulders! I wish I would’ve known about this a long time ago! I bought this reasonably priced hairdryer to give it a try - hoping it would speed up my routine and encourage me to blow out my hair more, rather than just sticking it in a clip after showering. I expected there to be a learning curve, but I found it to be very user friendly. I like it so much, that I've stopped using my very expensive hairdryer than was supposed to use ion technology to make hair shiny. This makes my hair shiny and soft, and after using it for months, I don't notice any damage to my hair. A couple of minor points: 1) the settings are written on the handle which you twist to change. It took a minute to get used to, but it's probably no more difficult than changing the settings on any other hairdryer. 2) "cool" isn't very cool - it's more like "room temp", so if you like to use cool to lock in your style, I'm not sure the tepid air does the trick. I’ve been using the Revlon One-Step Volumizer as my main hair styling tool for almost a year now, and overall it’s been a really convenient addition to my routine. I originally bought it to save time by combining drying and styling, and it definitely delivers on that. I typically use it on towel-dried hair, and it dries my hair much faster than using a regular blow dryer and round brush separately. I like that it’s easy to use and straightens my curly hair in just a few swipes. That said, there are a few downsides. The brush can get quite hot, so I wouldn’t recommend holding it in one spot for too long. It’s also a bit bulky, which can make it harder to use on shorter layers or around the back of the head. Over time, I’ve noticed it can be drying, if you use it frequently like me (almost every day since I live in warmer weather), so using a heat protectant is important. I've also noticed some of the bristles have started to fall off, but as I said, I use it almost every day, so for the price, it has been well worth it. Overall, this is a great tool for someone who wants a quick, polished look without spending a lot of time styling. This is easily one of the top two hair tools I’ve ever owned, and I have spent considerably more money trying to achieve considerably less. It gives me a genuinely salon-quality round-brush blowout with one hand—smooth, bouncy, polished hair to the point that women at work ask how mine possibly looks like this when the humidity has everyone else reconsidering their life choices. One important thing: understand the assignment. This is not what I use to take soaking-wet hair from shower to finished. I let my hair dry most of the way first, then use this to smooth, shape and add volume. Used that way, it’s fantastic. Mine is now two years old and has been used so relentlessly that the little brush prongs have finally begun admitting defeat one by one. So apparently I’m going to have to endure the financial hardship of spending another $20 after two years. I’ll recover financially. 😂 ... show more

Ehhh it was okay, for sure get it when on a great discount. It was super loud, which i could've predicted and i was okay with it until when it came to hair pieces near my ear. Way too loud for near my ear. It was overly hot but not too hot to cause skin burning, my finger only stung when accidentally touching. air only came out from 2 sides of the barrel, and the other 2 sides were the only one with soft bristles on them. I thought the whole barrel would have them and i thought barrel would be round and not oval like. It could not do the job for MY hair, not sure if it’s because my hair is think or just my hair specifically(my hair is hard to manage in general) so take what you will with that information.
