I like the color and style. Unfortunately two of the bases of wood were already damaged at the factory before they were wrapped up for shipment. Don't like paying full price for 2 damaged chairs. I don't know why it appears purple. It's a beautiful chocolate brown with a hint of burgundy I very comfortable nice material nice padding seat and back. We didn't expect this quality of chair. Very well made, love the set. Easy assembly but Super difficult to get rollars on leg. Do not spray with Scotchguard since it's not recommended for plastic, which is what leatherette is. Wish I had known this. Took an hour to rub it off the one chair I sprayed.
