I hesitated to purchase the Dyson Air Styler for a long time due to its price, but looking back, I realize I would have saved a lot of money if I had invested in this gem sooner instead of buying several mediocre hair stylers. The results are simply amazing! This tool gives my layered bob, which reaches the bottom of my neck, incredible body without causing any heat damage. No more worrying about burning my hair! The cool shot feature does an excellent job of setting the curls and adding volume. My hair is medium thickness and naturally stick straight, but the conical barrel creates soft, lovely curls, while the regular barrel lifts at the roots, providing ample body. I am still getting the hang of how much hair to section for the perfect wrap, but any loose strands are easy to catch in the next go. One of the best features is the simple click mechanism to change the curl direction. This eliminates downtime when switching barrels, making it incredibly efficient if you're alternating curl directions for your style. And let’s not forget the blow dryer—it's fantastic too! I purchased this item as a gift after hearing great reviews from other purchasers. After witnessing it being used every night, I would like to compliment the Airwrap's quiet noise level, efficiency, and versatility. Despite the weight of the entire box, the attachments themselves allow the user to pick what hairstyle they want. With one attachment chosen, the user is able to alter the heat and speed level to their liking, which has definitely allowed damp hair to dry quicker than other dryers we have tried. Furthermore, the quality of the Airwrap is second to none, allowing the hair to be styled and dried with minimal hair damage. As mentioned before, picking one or two attachments allows it to be an easy accessory to travel with. Finally, the cost of this item was not too bad. While other hairdryers may offer similar services for cheaper, I've found that the dyson airwrap cost was fair and not incredibly expensive. ... show more

Frugal, busy working mom with “average” highlighted hair decided to spring for this as a Christmas present to myself. And wow, has it delivered. Dries my hair significantly faster and so easy to use the multiple attachments, depending on my time available. Provides long-lasting voluminous blowout that allows me to go 3-4 days without washing (with dry shampoo and a 4th day ponytail). As a hairstylist, I work with heat tools daily and know exactly what’s normal and what isn’t. This was completely unacceptable. During normal use, the unit overheated and caught fire, with visible flames and a strong burning plastic smell. The device then started flashing a white light, shut itself down, and never turned back on. This wasn’t a minor malfunction — it was a serious safety hazard!!!!. The styler was used exactly as instructed and properly maintained, including cleaning the filter. This was not user error. From professional experience, this was a clear internal or electrical failure. For a product sold as premium and “safe for hair,” this is beyond disappointing — it’s dangerous. I had no choice but to immediately discard the unit due to the fire risk, making return impossible. No professional should ever have to worry about a styler igniting while in use. ... show more
