I switched from using the T3 hairdryer to the Dyson after having neurosurgery and having to regrow sections of hair that had to be shaved out due to surgery. I was also losing a lot more hair due to the seizure medications I was placed on after surgery. I wanted to try the Dyson due to it not heating my hair up nearly as much as the T3 when drying in order to maintain the health of new hair growing back and my hair I had remaining. I was skeptical and afraid to change my routine but I was pleasantly surprised and have been extremely happy with the results. The Dyson doesn’t heat up much and dries my long frizzy wavy hair perfectly straight and leaves it shiny, healthy feeling and looking, without frizz or any tangles and it stays that way through humid rainy days. It’s expensive but if you’re willing to spend the money you will not be disappointed. Easy to use, SO many attachments. I’ve been struggling styling my hair without looking like Lord Farquaad from Shrek ever since I cut my hair. The airwrap makes me feel so glamorous.

I purchased this dryer on 2/7/2024 I sent an email a few weeks ago and called tonight only to hear that i have to contat dyson, reading the reviews and seeing all the people that have had the same issue I am having only wish I read before buying. the red light comes on constantly shutting the dryer down. I cant get through blow drying my hair without it stopping. I have average hair slightly past my shoulders. I have spent endless time now reading and trying to self trouble shoot the last few times I am using my old blow dryer partially so I dont have the dyson on too much which is insane I spent $600.00 plus tax for something that doesnt work. reading the reviews on here is only more disappointing. I am passed the 30 day return window. I havent even had it for 3 months. I received the number to contact dyson so will try in the morning, I dont want a return i just want a replacement that actually works. ... show more

It’s absolutely changed my hair and how I get ready! Seriously it’s amazing! I figured out how to use it easily and I’m a spazz with hair! What used to take 2 hours, with drying and curling, now takes me 15! My hair is shinier and softer than it’s ever been. Now I have bone straight hair, so I don’t know how well it’s work with curly hair. But for me… it’s amazing! This hair tool has been soo helpful. Definitely can give you a blowout look each and every day. Takes a little practice to learn how to work your hair but it's a beautiful set. Definitely an investment but for me it was worth it. Many hair tool options with a simple switch. My husband even used it to brush/smooth his long beard out. It gives it a barbers groom look. I’ve been using it for a few months now and figured out the tricks. Cons: 1. High price: I am not thrilled by the cost given how similar other less expensive tools produce similar results. 2. Large: it takes up a lot of physical space. 3. Damages hair. It may not be as damaging as the other hotter tools but it still will dry out your hair. I don’t typically style or color my hair so it is very natural. One week after using it daily, I’ve noticed my hair being more brittle. I would use oils in your hair to combat dehydration. Pros: 1.
