I recently tried the TYMO Hair Straightener, and after testing it on multiple hair types in my household, I can confidently say that it performs exactly as advertised. I have naturally thick 4C hair, which is the most challenging hair type in my home to straighten. I used the highest heat setting, and with just one pass, it straightened my hair surprisingly well. I started with freshly washed hair that had not been blow-dried beforehand, so this wasn't already stretched hair. The results were smooth, even, and significantly cut down the amount of time I normally spend flat ironing. One of the things I love most about this straightener is its versatility. I've used it on several different hair types in my household, and it worked beautifully on each one. If it can handle my 4C hair with ease, I feel confident recommending it for a wide variety of textures. Safety is another area where this straightener really stands out. The built-in heat guard keeps the outside cool to the touch, so you don't have to worry about accidentally burning your fingers, ears, neck, or scalp. This also makes it much easier to reach the hair in the back of your head since you can get close to your roots without the fear of getting burned. If you have children around or are simply nervous about using hot styling tools, this design adds an extra layer of peace of mind. The TYMO also heats up quickly, reaching the selected temperature in about 15 minutes as advertised. It includes five heat settings, allowing you to choose the right temperature for your hair type. For my 4C hair, the highest setting gave me the best results. Another feature I appreciated was the extra-long swivel cord. It gives you plenty of room to move around, making it especially convenient if you're styling someone else's hair or working around a salon chair. I also appreciate the built-in 30-minute automatic shut-off feature. It's a great safety feature for anyone who has ever wondered, "Did I remember to turn my straightener off?" Overall, I'm genuinely impressed with the TYMO Hair Straightener. It delivered on every claim, worked exceptionally well on my 4C hair, and performed equally well on other hair textures. The combination of fast styling, thoughtful safety features, multiple heat settings, and ease of use makes this a tool I would absolutely recommend. I'll be including before-and-after photos of my freshly washed, non-blow-dried hair so you can see the results for yourself. I purchased this product with my own money and will be buying another for my mom.

This straightener brush is amazing and so easy and quick to use. I used it on my daughter for the first time and she has extremely thick wavy hair. Her hair was pin straight in just 15 mins. I have thin hair so I can only imagine how quickly my hair will take with this. Well worth the purchase.

I really like this product!! As advertised, fairly quick and did make the process of straightening my hair much easier. I removed one star because at least personally, I couldn’t use this product alone to straighten my whole head. For reference, I have tight waves (2c/3a depending on who you ask) and my hair straightened always looks great imo. This brush made it very hard, especially on the top layer, to flatten my roots and upper half of my hair. I had already been using the brush for 30 minutes (about how long it takes me to do my hair with a flat iron) before I had to switch to flat iron to finish up. It kind of renders this tool pointless? I will still use it, but only for lower layers of my hair.

This product is magic! I have very frizzy, coarse, thick hair and have been getting professional blow-drys WEEKLY for the last 30 years because I could never find a blow dry or flat iron that would make my hair look sleek and straight with no freeze. Whatever I tried just didn't work it for my thick mane. Until I decided to try the TYMO Hair Strightener Brush! Omgosh, what a difference from other tools out there! I blow-dried after shower, used the Tymo brush (bypassed my regular flat iron,) and voila! Soft, straight hair, with no frizz! My husband came home and asked if I had gone to the salon that day! It's still a chore to blow dry my own hair, but thanks to Tymo, I can now style it mself and look decently acceptable! So happy with this product!

I felt like this was just okay. It wasn’t nothing spectacular but I did like just not love it. It’s easy to use I’ll give it that. My daughter who is 13 loves it as it’s quick for her to use before school. So it’s user friendly and quick. She had no complaints but I’ve used better. I have other tymo products that I absolutely love so it’s just user preference! I did like how it came with a glove and hair clips and a little palm sized brush.
