For the price that I paid, I wasn't expecting much at all. In fact, I was expecting to have to return them but when I tested one in my daughter's bedroom, it seemed like it will be ok. Her curtains are lightweight darkening curtains and are currently being held up just fine with clothespins so I am pretty sure these will work fine. I love how easy they are to put up and take down by myself. As far as actual sturdiness, they are a bit flimsy and I wouldn't mess with them when they are up there.

I got the tension rods for blackout curtains, which are heavier than most sheer curtains, and for several days they have been doing just fine. They seem kind of spindly, and I don't think I would trust them to hang clothing on, but for my purposes, they are perfect. In addition, they were very easy to install and are a good value.. Now, if I walk in the bedroom and discover that they have collapsed, I will update this review, but so far, so good.

The rod is easy to install and holds up a thin curtain pretty well, however it isn't very sturdy so it falls down quite often.

These are cheap and you get what you pay for. I use them to hang a curtain in a doorway and if I catch the curtain just a little tiny bit, or the cats decide to play with the curtain, the whole thing falls down. I've had to put it back up several times, cranking the tension as much as I can every single time. But it is at least easy to install and great if you're in a rental and don't want to drill holes.

I ordered these to use in a small cabinet to hang a few shirts on and it was simple to get in place and would hold even heavier garments if I had a need. This was a pack of two so I wanted to find a use for the other one and did rather quickly, our water heater is in a small closet with no door and does not look the greatest, in no time I put the second in place with a long curtain and it made the entire room look inviting. There are probably many more uses for these, I am very happy with them.

Since there were mixed reviews I was unsure about buying this, but it worked out great! I hung this curtain up to cover my closet a couple of days ago and it has been working well and it seems pretty sturdy. I wouldn't hang anything too heavy on it nor pull on it, but for just holding a curtain to walk through it works wonderfully! Instructions aren't in English but the pictures explain well enough. I use these to hold my vinyl stair runner in place on my 8 carpeted steps… Now I can easily remove the long runner to hose it off and vacuum the carpet on the stairs also. Adjustable and sufficient tension to stay in place. The price to do this was excellent. One downside, there are 6 in the package and I could have used 7 .. so I just skipped the bottom step.
