I wasn't expecting much from this 10 pack of reading glasses. They were inexpensive and, frankly, I wasn't expecting much. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of these glasses. The frames have springy hinges and the glass is consistent across the whole reading area. I highly recommend them.

I've ordered and used several sets of these glasses because they're perfectly priced. You can leave them in the seat-back pocket on the plane and not worry for a moment -- and, hey, you'll have two more pairs in your bag. You can sit on them like I did that $500 Danish pair, and you've lost less than $3. Their prescriptions (I use 1.75) work well for me. They're light, they stay on, and they're consistently made. I'm on computers all day, I use them for that. They do break after a while, normally near the nose piece on the top of a frame. You may not notice until a lens falls out. My main complaint (and you notice I keep ordering them so this is not a show-stopper) is that they smear easily. I'm not sure if it's the type plastic the company uses, but something makes them get dirty very easily. ►I want to know if they can be put into a dishwasher to get them clean. They're not a material that Zeiss Lens Wipes (a fine product sold here at Amazon) can handle well. If the manufacturer is checking reviews, I'd like to know if these glasses are dishwasher safe. I tried asking here but this "Rufus" Q&A bot can't handle the question. (Must everybody have an "AI powered" tool?) If another human here has tried them in a dishwasher, please let me know. I'll put on a pair of these to read what you're telling me. :) Thanks.

I tell ya what, for the money you won't find anything better than these reading glasses. They are much more scratch resistant than my $500 pair of glasses I got from a big commercial place that starts with Lens and ends with Crafters. Those lasted 1 month and they wouldn't make it right. These last for months and months, and are a fraction of the price. I clean my glasses 5 or 6 times a day at least, and I use whatever is at hand, like a paper towel, my shirt tail, etc... and I haven't scratched the lenses in these yet. Oh BTW, as far as I can tell the lenses are clear, and accurate. I wear 2.50 power glasses. I have broken a few pair by dropping them, and sometimes after cleaning them, several hundred times, the plastic frame around one of the lenses will break, but since these are so inexpensive it's no big deal. Pitch 'em, break out a new pair, and just keep going. These come boxed, individually wrapped, and each pair has it's own carrying case. A pretty good deal if you ask me. If you need reading glasses these are the ones you need to buy.

I have been wearing prescription glasses, bifocals, for the last four years or so. The diopter for the close-range section of the lens is 4.00. While my prescription glasses are perfect, I don't like looking at a computer through them for long periods, as I have to tilt my head back to look through the bottom half of the lens. I needed readers. The problem is, the strongest diopter for over-the-counter readers offered at Dollar Tree and Walmart is something like 3.75. So I ordered these. I have no complaints. They do the job, and the price is a bargain. The real surprise was the packaging. Each pair came in a separate small zip-lock plastic baggie, and each was provided a separate cloth case. I bought these because they're so cheap, and I didn't expect this sort of care for something I bought for the disposability. The glasses are as good as any you'll get, and will accomplish what you need them to. They are, after all, not intended to be a fashion statement. What's puzzling to me is the people who wrote the one-star reviews for them. They're complaining about durability and how cheaply made they are. No kidding. That's what I bought them for, because they're cheap and I can buy a bunch of them, to spread them around the house. An optometrist will be happy to grind you a pair of readers, and you can pay for nice fashionable, indestructible frames. But why would you do that? I know I wouldn't. The readers that I received are absolutely the best quality I have ever seen in this price range for readers! I have purchased readers before from this company and when I need readers, I look up this company’s name and buy. I really wanted some blue light blockers, but, they were out of stock. People love these glasses and I can only imagine that’s the reason why they are out of stock! I have purchases more expensive brands and NONE of them felt good on my face! I love these readers so much, that I could work for this company for free. If you were disappointed by the low quality of readers, try this company’s readers, they are GREAT!

These are a little narrow (temple to temple) for men's glasses as described, more fitted for women. The spring loaded hinges make up the difference spreading wide enough, but you can see alot of the frames at the outer edges through the lenses. It is ok when reading because your central vision takes over, but glance up and you are looking at allot of frame. I'm not necessarily using them for reading but setting up equipment in low light and the magnification helps. These are a one time purchase and do the job but next purchase I will ensure they are wider.
