Unit seems to work as advertised... No issues as of yet. Have tried a couple of different programs. Touch screen is good.... Not too sensitive, but is a sensitive enough. I like this unit a lot and no complaints.... Being rechargeable means that I don't have to replace batteries as often, but the downside to that is that it is not a field replaceable battery, meaning either send it back for replacement, or replace the entire unit... I am figuring 2 years on the battery, if it last that long, it is about time to get it replaced. One difference I did not is that my Older Analog unit is much stronger... Where 50% is plenty on the analog, the new Digital unit is about 70 to 90% for the same usage... Do not take that comment as a negative, it does what it is supposed to do and does so very well... My older unit may be just a little too old!

I've had this for almost 2 years now. I don't use it regularly, more like a week or so on a daily basis and then not for months. I use it whenever my lower back issues start to crop up. It's powerful, effective, and the battery life is amazing. I've charged it maybe 3 times since I bought it. It sits in the box for months, I take it out, and the battery is still fully charged. I use it for several days in a row, 20 minutes a day, and the battery still shows fully charged. The couple times that I have charged it were just out of caution to make sure it's ready when I need it. I ordered it because the physical therapist was using this type of therapy on me among other things and said devices like this could help. While this is not the same frequencies offered on medical grade devices, it seems to have the same therapeutic efficacy. The power setting for each electrode pair goes up to 20 but I've never gotten past 7. It makes my whole body twitch and jump off the floor for certain therapy types. It really does help reduce the muscle tension when my back has seized up. You can't go wrong with this device.

I love this product! I use it for recurring back and hip pain and for those times I over work muscles during a workout. I used it just recently for an issue where I threw out my lower back during a workout. I was so happy to have it immediately available. It got me back to normal quickly without a pile of pain meds. This unit comes with three sizes of pads. My favorite and most versatile are the medium pads. The large are good for large areas that need a lot of coverage - like thighs. The small ones are too small for most areas and are the worst when it comes to adhesion and staying put. The unit has several settings, all of which are variations in timing of the pulses. Some of the settings with acupuncture like needling can be a little much for large muscle areas but are perfect for areas in the neck and shoulders where I hold more tension. There are 3-4 settings that I go to most. It's likely with so many settings that one will work to the desired effect. I was also happy to find that I didn't need to crank it up all the way to get comfort. I've only needed a setting between 03 and 05 for optimal results (max 10)...which is unusual for me. I also didn't experience any numbing or dulling that required me to increase the strength after a prolonged use. The battery on this thing has an amazingly long life. It came fully charged and after several long uses I still have a full charge! I did have an issue with the A side on my first unit. It just stopped working after only two uses, but the B side kept working. I easily returned the unit and it was replaced. No problems with the new one.

Full disclosure, I'm a man writing this review. I bought this unit for two express purposes, and it far exceeded expectation. First, my girlfriend and I wanted to do the social media experiment of giving me the pain she feels during menstruation, and second we were hoping it would help at least a little bit in relieving her cramps. Cramps first... My girlfriend gets debilitating cramps. This unit has completely nullified the pain during her light days, and brought the worst days down to a level where she can sleep at night and function during the day. With 20 levels of intensity, we have not needed it beyond level 15. The various modes give her the chance to zero in on what works best for her cramps. Second, the social media experiment... So this unit allows two sets of pads be used at once (so four pads at one time). That allowed both her and me to wear a set, put them in the same place, set the same mode and intensity. That way I could feel the same exact thing she did. After a little bit of adjusting and experimenting, she found a placement and mode that very closely replicated menstrual cramping, and set me up with the same, then gave the intensity which matched her cramps. This unit was perfect for that experiment. The extra... I was real skeptical on the functionality of this unit, but beyond our initial intended purposes, I found this unit does a fantastic job of relieving muscle pain, and helping recover after workout or strenuous activity. Pro's - two connections to allow a total of four pads. Able to change out the pads as needed. Wide variety of modes to hit exactly what you need. Excellent intensity gradient (level 1 = not really noticeable ... level 20 = I honestly don't know; neither of us can tolerate above level 18). Excellent battery life Con's - will only run for 60 minutes before timing out, and needs to be turned back on. Pads lose sticky after only 2-3 uses.
