- How to use: 1. Locate the neck support of the device around the middle of your neck. Start with gentle traction ( convex side toward your head).. Gently reposition on the device, up or down along your spine to locate the most comfortable position for your neck. Bent your knees, put your hand beside your head.
- 3. Like any new exercise, start off slowly. Use the gentle support level for 5 minutes then reassess whether or not you can use it for an additional 5 minutes. Progress gradually as you are comfortable. If you feel you can use more neck support, use the strong traction neck support ( concave side under your head).
- 4. NOTE: At first, you may feel slight discomfort as your muscles and joints adjust to their new positions. If you feel pain, discontinue using device and consult with your healthcare professional.

I like to use this after a day of working at the table or desk. It helps my neck muscles relax - I use it for about two minutes each way, and I’m good to go. Sometimes if I do it for longer, my nerves feel a little numb. For under $20, I am really happy with this purchase. It’s not a cure all, or a substitute for exercises, physical therapy or medical advice, but it has helped after a day of staring at the screen. I had a car accident injury that caused lower back pain along with that came improper sleeping so the neck discomfort kicked in due to having to lay in a certain position. I needed some extra support on my neck at random times throughout the day when I had to lay flat. I came a cross this and bought it and it really helps. It’s not a substitute for a pillow so you can’t sleep on it but it does help relieve discomfort and pressure.

I purchased this device about two months ago to correct my posture, which was contributing to problems with my shoulder. Initially I found it very helpful. It was comfortable to use and I noticed improvement in my posture. However, about a month ago I stayed on it for a longer period of time, probably around 10-15". Since then I have been experiencing an increasing level of vertigo, to the point where I cannot walk without holding onto something or someone. After contacting a family member who is a chiropractor, I learned that this is due to a shift in the crystals in the ear canal and is correctable by using the "Epley maneuver." Hopefully that is the case. She also said that this device should only be used by someone who is receiving regular chiropractic adjustments. FOLLOW UP: I posted the above review on 9/4/23. The following day I was contacted by the seller apologizing for the difficulty I experienced and offering me a full refund. I was quite impressed by the professionalism of the seller in reaching out to me and offering a refund, which I had not even requested. However, I chose not to accept the offer because my problem occurred as the result of not using the product correctly per the instructions. My husband assisted me in performing the Epley Maneuver (we watched a YouTube video) and my vertigo rapidly improved. Once I resume chiropractic treament, I plan to beginning using this product again according to the recommended guidelines, as I was truly beginning to see benefits.

Prior to using this device, I was meeting with two different neck surgeons and planning to move forward with artificial disc replacement surgery for my neck. I was spending nearly a car payment each month on massage therapy and chiropractic. The combination of this device and occasional chiropractic, completely cured me. I am working out again like I’m 20 years younger. I don’t even need the massage therapy or the chiropractic anymore. When I use this, I just lay on it for about five minutes to let the muscles in my neck relax and then I use my arms to gently flex head backwards across it. I’ve never spent such a small amount of money for something so life-changing. I’m sure to some people this sounds like an overstatement, but I truly believe this $18 piece of rubber saved my life. After years of debilitating misery, I have my life back.

I’ve maybe written two reviews on Amazon. This product is definitely worth writing home about. There’s two positions you can rest on, I went straight for the strong traction. Oh my goodness! It not only stretched out my neck but I could feel it pulling my shoulders back making me realize how bad my posture really was. I felt everything being stretched probably down to right above the middle of my back. Great investment! I’m glad it made me aware of other improper posture issues. I do suggest lying on the floor. It didn’t feel like it was doing anything when I was laying on my bed with it. Remember: This product was bought because we know we have neck and posture issues from living and doing the same thing everyday all day for years, it’s going to be extremely uncomfortable stretching all those muscles out the first time. It feels so nice afterwards though!!!! :)

If you sit at a computer all day like myself, this is a great way to stretch your neck. It will be a bit uncomfortable the first few times using it, but you will feel so much better if you stick with it. 10 minutes is all you really need if you use it consistently.
