Bought this PSP20 shock wave machine for urologist friend overseas in March 2025. It is. A solid machine and far more affordable than other quality machines on the market. It's a semi-professional unit that can be used at the home and at the office or the clinic. The PSP20 is easy to operate because everything is very clear and simple to operate and maintain as long as the operator reads the enclosed literature that is available in print and electronic. The company support is top notch. The sales department is phenomenal in that it responds to communication almost immediately and answers questions or concerns clearly and helpfully. Indeed, I was really flabbergasted to receive a response to an e-mail by a living person at eleven clock at night in answer to a question I relayed to the sales department. As for the functioning of the machine? It seems to be doing what it's supposed to do. Indeed, the doctor who ordered it is very pleased with what it's doing to his patients suffering with ED (erectile disfunction) and other issues. He informs me that some have stopped taking viagra and other such medication altogether. The treatment in non-invasive and seems to do wonders to the psychological wellbeing of many of his male patients who feel ashamed because they can't function on demand. The other fantastic benefit of the PSP20 is its ability to treat body pain. I am told it does wonders in reducing back-pain as well as pain in the other parts of the body by healing nerves and joints as well as promoting the development of new nerves and muscle joints. I bought the machine for my friend and can attest to the quality and the price. It is not cheap but what is does makes it worth it. The complaints I had were that it doesn't have dual electric voltage and one needs current converter to use it in areas with 220 volts and 50 Hrs. The other complaint was that the additional ED and Back-pain heads are just too expensive for personal use in that it pushes up the price of the machine to over 4500 dollars. It's a great machine for those who can afford it for home use.

I can't believe how much this machine has change my life. I'm 52 and after years of physical abuse on my body from being so active my joints were shot. I had so much pain and now most of it is GONE!!!!!! What is amazing about shock wave treatment is you get instant relief and long term healing. It does cause some discomfort while doing it but it is so worth it. I call it the no pain no gain treatment. PerVita has several different units to choose from. I decided to go with the larger more powerful one because it had a penetrating factor of 1.97 in. and a max power level of 8. Which really makes a difference when you start to advance in your treatment. I highly recommend this machine! It is easy to use, well built and customer service is off the charts. Jennie was so helpful in answering my questions. She got back to me in a timely matter and went out of her way to make sure everything that I needed was taken care of. A colleague used the PSP10 model on me at a conference we both attended and the results were so instant/lasting that I had to get one myself. I opted for the larger model for my practice and to fit the needs of my clientele. It is quite powerful so I wouldn’t mind having both at some point. This model is larger and great for in-office use. The PSP10 is perfect for travel/on-site jobs. Seller sends a pdf with information for cleaning and setup. Worth the investment.

I just received a new PerVita Shockwave Machine PSP20 machine. I am returning it to Amazon where I purchased it because the reason for the return is that is it painful to receive therapy from the machine. Before trying it on a patient, I tried it on myself, using head #4, selecting option #5 for knee. That selection produced a default automatic settings of 4 bar and 8 Hz for 3,000 cycles. I placed head#4 on the pre-lubricated area and turned on the machine. Immediately after starting the machine, I had intolerable pain radiating through my quadriceps to the femur. As soon as the head was withdrawn from the area, the pain subsided. I tried this 3 more times with the same results. Thinking the level might be set too high, I lowered the level to 3 bar, then 2, then 1, then 0.5. the discomfort was still too intense to bear. I then tried to lower the frequence from 8, progressively down to 4 with no change in painfulness of the shock. I have previously had 2 other PSP20 machines. The first machine was purchased in 2024. It operated perfectly with no difficulties. Because it was so effective, I ordered a second unit for another clinic location. The second unit was unusable for the same reasons I have listed above. I emailed the company explaining the pain caused by that unit and waited a few months thinking that someone would attend to the defect and correct the problem. Evidently, that did not happen because this machine is delivers a painful shock just like the previous one.
