Top Amazon Reviews

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The ab machine has garnered mixed reviews from consumers, with some appreciating its workout potency and others lamenting durability issues. While some users have found it effective and easy to use, significant concerns have been raised about its long-term reliability and consistent performance.

Pros

  • 🏋️ Effective workout tool for the abdomen
  • 🔄 Easy to adjust intensity and mode
  • 🔋 Rechargeable and not reliant on batteries
  • 🤸 Potentially aids muscle strengthening and toning

Cons

  • ⏳ Possible degradation in performance over time
  • 💪 The different modes and intensity levels can be overwhelming for some users
  • 🔄 No kill-switch to quickly turn off the device
  • 📦 Product size is one-size-fits-all, which may not suit everyone

Should I Buy It?

If you are looking for a tool that can supplement your abdominal exercises, this machine could be useful. However, be prepared for potential problems with its durability and performance consistency as it ages. It might be worth considering for short-term use, but dependent on your tolerance for its shortcomings.

  • Does sit-ups for you!
I recently lost 35 lbs., but my stomach still had extra layers of fat that seemed impenetrable due to a C-section and stress. So overall, I slimmed down, but I still had a pot belly. I knew that strengthening my core would help with the extra pudge, but like most people, any free time that I don't have would not be dedicated to "core" toning. I found that even though I was thrilled that I lost the weight, to me, it looked a little sickly when a person loses weight but still has a bulging belly. I thought what could I do without any extra time for "core" training or an extra couple of thousand $ for liposuction I perused Amazon looking for some extra help that was possibly available that I didn't know about. I came across this belt. I was sold on , at least, trying it because of two reviews that included pictures of women who seemed to share a similar problem to mine. Another review of an overweight man also spoke to me because he mentioned not changing a thing other than wearing the weight, band he raved about the slight toning that happened to him. I used my birthday Amazon gifts cards to purchase something I "wanted" this year rather than something I "needed". Little did I know, that this belt was exactly what I "needed" too. I have had it since mid-July, and my waist circumference has reduced by 2 inches, but I still have much to go. I don't know if I will hit a plateau at which I won't be able to reduce my waist anymore because I wear it at it highest level now. If that is the case, I will still be quite glad to have purchased it because it has at least reduced 2 inches that I had no hopes of getting rid of otherwise due to the responsibility of being the sole care giver to 2 people in my life. Just to give you an idea of how I use it, not to say this would be the best routine for everyone, but I wear the belt probably 4 days a week for anywhere from 45-60 minutes a day. That sounds like a lot of time, but it really isn't because you just put it on and go about your day. It cycles off after about 15 minutes, I believe. I wear it for the full interval s for 3-4 intervals a day. I continue to wear the belt but take breaks between intervals. I am not saying that wearing/using this belt will give you a 6-pack, but it definitely is toning my stomach muscles to the point that I now see some definition of my stomach muscles rather than the roll of blubber of the extra fat that I had 3 months ago. ... show more

  • I Don't leave home without it anymore!
First of all i just wanna say, i do not work for this company..i am not a spokes person nor am i advertising in any way..i am just mary off the street simply sharing my results. I saw this product all over my Facebook feed so i decided to try it..i had my daughter 3 years ago and i am just now loosing all of my baby weight and intead of buying all new clothes i am trying to fit in all my old ones 😂😂...i am 5'2 and 115 pound, my final way in before birth was 175 so i have a lot of loose skin and belly fat. My results so far are pretty impressive. I am going to say i do wear this belt a lot..about 5 hours a day..i will not share my settings just because i have them set pretty high and i am very tolerate and used to the belt. I started off very low and increased as i went along..i do not wear this belt driving or sitting down, i used to ,but it seemed to curl up the very end so i only waer it standing up right and if i have to bend over i squat a little lol..first i spray a lot of water with the bottle it comes with for good contact than i simple use my sweat the rest of the day..dunno if every belt is the same, but my seems to turn off every 15 to 20 minutes..probably because you're only supposed to wear it 15 minutes a day 🙄 i tried the sticky kind and even tho i did like that it seemd to target all 6 of my abs at once it didn't stay on very well. This belt is comfortable and easy to hide under a t shirt..in my experience it doesn't feel like the belt targets all 6 of my abs so i rotate my thru out the day..top 2 abs, middle abs and than lower abs..again i will not share my settings just because everyone is different! I love this thing!! I am definitely seeing results and i plan on wearing it the full 30 days..more photos to come. I really hope it works for you guys the way its working for me! Photos 1 and 2 are day one..photos 3 and 4 are day 7..the ones in between are just pics of me wearing it!! 🫶 ... show more

  • Works, takes time, and probably 2 sessions daily to see benefits
I have some lower back issues L4/L5/L5/S1 and my rehab doc told me I need to strengthen my core. I've been horrible over the years, not doing those types of exercises. First, when I opened this I thought it wouldn't do anything. I did need to put it on Mode 5 at first since I didn't feel anything lower. I've tried other brands with gel pads and returned those when I found out how much replacement pads cost. This one, you just spray with the water bottle. It took a week (twice a day) before I noticed anything changing. Now I can feel the change, but just a little. It'll take time. I also do 2 sets of 20 pelvic tilts while wearing this and laying on the sofa. You can watch TV or whatever while wearing this so it's not so boring. If you remove it from your skin, it'll shut off automatically after a couple seconds, so make sure it's pressed against your abdomen area. There aren't many instructions on how to use this, so I'm deducting a star for that. ... show more

  • Simple, Comfortable, and Surprisingly Effective
I’ve been using this muscle stimulator belt for a few months now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. The design is lightweight, comfortable, and easy to wear under clothing, which makes it convenient to use while doing everyday activities. The adjustable intensity levels are a big plus—you can start gentle and gradually increase as your muscles get used to it. What I like most is how it targets specific areas like my abs. After consistent use, I noticed improved muscle tone and a stronger core, especially when paired with light exercise and a healthy routine. The different modes keep the sessions from feeling repetitive, and the battery life is solid, it lasts through multiple sessions before needing a recharge. It’s also very easy to set up and use, even if you’re not tech-savvy. The adhesive pads stay in place well and don’t irritate the skin, which was a concern for me at first. While it’s not a substitute for a full workout, it’s a great supplement to help activate muscles, improve circulation, and support toning efforts. Overall, this muscle stimulator belt offers excellent value for the price and is a helpful addition to any fitness routine. ... show more

  • Works are a great ab enhancer
As someone who works out on average 4-5 times a week, I had previously struggled with seeing ab muscle definition results. I’ve tried a lot of different fitness products, but this is the first one actually helped me see real definition in my abs. There are a few things to note here: in addition to the ab stimulator I also eat a fairly clean diet and lift weights regularly (4-5 times a week on average) . This product works as an excellent enhancement. It took a little to see results, but that should be expected. After about 2 months of daily use I starting seeing results. ... show more

  • Its okay
I truly think my belt came broken. I only feel like "tingle" in one section not the entire item. I kept it and have been using it off and on since April of last year. I used to be able to feel my abs being sore the next day, but I don't have that anymore. The module is starting to not show the intensity levels. Its a nice beginner item. ... show more

  • Very solid machine, when it worked
***5-MONTH OWNER UPDATE*** I highly, highly advise you to not buy this item. Please read all the negative reviews and take them seriously, they all note that this thing isn't durable and now I see that they were all correct. Do not buy this item unless you're fine with replacing it a few times a year. I have owned this thing for about 5 months, and while I had positive things to say about it at first (which you can read in my original review below), I am extremely frustrated because its performance has totally and suddenly degraded, to the point where it is no longer really usable at all. I use(d) this belt twice a day for 4-5 days a week, making sure to wipe off sweat and charge it at least once a week. Everything was fine, until about a week ago. Suddenly the strength of the vibrations became significantly weaker. I was on the 6th mode at 15 strength for a while, and I grew very familiar with how it felt. Now the 15 strength feels like how 5 strength used to feel, and anything under 10 strength barely tickles. The plastic piece just lost all of its power seemingly overnight with no change in routine or anything. To be clear this isn't related to my own growing tolerance or anything, the first 10 strength settings barely vibrate at all anymore, and it was not like this just a day earlier. What's even more frustrating is that the company that sells this item does not respond back to messages. I had to contact Amazon to be able to message them in the first place, there's no trace of them online and they don't make their contact info readily available. Not even an email address or a Facebook page. And of course, after several days they still haven't answered my message, I was trying to find out if this is covered by any kind of warranty. It was a $70 item, I'm genuinely so frustrated with all of this. The only reason I'm still giving this item two stars instead of one, is because I really did like it when it worked. It provided solid resistance to my abs and I grew to appreciate the routine of using it. But now it's barely functional and the seller doesn't bother to respond to messages. I don't think $70 is a fair price for an item that will only last a few months, and I'm really disappointed with this overall. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** Okay so I've been using this thing for a few weeks now and so far I like it. Obviously this isn't going to actually give you a six-pack but I have a noticed a very, VERY slight bit of tone in my abs - though I'm using this while also eating relatively healthy and exercising five days a week. This thing, on its own, will not produce significant results. But I like it as a supplement to my usual fitness routine, simply because I hate doing abdominal exercises and this does do a good job of mimicking the feel of crunches. I wear it twice a day, five days a week for 20 minutes each "session". That's exactly how much I can handle before the pain becomes genuinely difficult to bear. I'm currently on level 10, mainly using the sixth mode. There are six modes and each mode goes from level 1-15. I had to start at level 4 and have been working my way up every couple days. Even though I can handle level 10 on my preferred mode, I can't handle level 10 on any of the others - so each mode definitely provides a different feel, which I like. So I can recommend this thing, as long as you keep your expectations in check and understand that it isn't a miracle device. However I'm mostly writing this review because it has a couple of major problems that I want to address: First of all, not a huge deal, but I cannot get a read on the battery life for this thing. One time I had to charge it after a week of use, then after a day, then after a few days, despite my sessions all being the same length. When you charge it, it has a little red LED light, and when it's fully charged that light disappears. I wish it could alert you when you have a low battery, maybe by flashing red a few times when you turn it on. That would be helpful. My main issue however, is the fact that this thing doesn't have a kill switch. There are three buttons: the plus/minus buttons to increase or decrease your intensity level, and the M button to switch between modes. The difference between one level and the next feels massive. I was on level 8 for a few days, and thought I was ready to switch to 9. But I was wrong - level 9 immediately gave me a bad cramp that I couldn't handle. But because there's no kill switch, I had to rapidly click the minus button 10 times to turn the machine off, while wincing in pain the entire time. There needs to be an off button for this thing! It actually makes me a little anxious to increase beyond level 10. It was a massive cramp, like somebody kicked me in the side with all their strength. Genuinely cannot understand how they could overlook such an important feature like that. But that's only enough to reduce my rating by a single star, because overall this thing is still very good. It fits comfortably, it provides a solid "workout", it's easy to clean/store, features a decent amount of options, etc. And most importantly, it does seem to provide *some* difference, as I haven't changed my workout/diet while using this thing at all, yet I've observed a (very slight) change. And after only 3 weeks of use, I really can't complain about that! EDIT: I've been using this thing consistently for a few months and it definitely feels durable. I also noticed that the battery is pretty good actually, I charge it once a week which seems fine so far. Not as inconsistent as I originally thought. In regards to the lack of a kill switch I've found a bit of a workaround: when you switch between any of the six modes, the intensity level automatically goes all the way down to level one. I'm on level 15 at this point (only with the one mode I consistently use), and I no longer develop cramps at any intensity level. But if you DO need to quickly turn the machine off, simply click the M button once, and then click the minus button once. It's a bit clunky and I really do wish that it just had an actual off button, so I'm keeping this review at four stars. But it is at least better than what I was doing before (clicking the minus button rapidly to turn the machine off). Overall I've grown more positive about this machine over time, I definitely think it's worth getting if you use it consistently. Also I forgot to mention this in my original review but it charges via micro-USB which sucks, for the price it really should be using USB-C. ... show more
