Features

  • Tackle your pain and inflammation with the power of cold therapy, or turn up the heat to reduce tension and aches. Hyperice X Ambient temperature range is 35F - 115 Hyperice X provides long-lasting, sustained relief without any change in temperature.
  • Hyperice X has an adaptive fit that moves with you freely. Enjoy fully automated, electric contrast therapy at home or on-the-go, with no prep, no ice, and no cords. The Hyperice X device may need to be plugged in before first use.
  • For best results, place your Hyperice X directly on bare skin. You may wear thin, athletic wear if preferred. Place the Hyperice X over knee and align the kneecap ring with your kneecap. Adjust straps until snug and start your session through the Hyperice App.
  • Too big or too small - If the device is too big, use included minimizers by attaching the minimizers to the existing straps and secure. If the device is too small, use the included extenders and attach the extenders in the open loops and secure properly.
  • Using the device on the maximum heat or cold setting requires more power and may possibly shorten the battery life during your usage treatment. Please note that you can use your Hyperice X while it's plugged in to the charging power cord.

  • It's expensive, but soooo worth it.
Style: Knee
I bought this when it was on sale over Black Friday. I'm not sure I'd pay full price, but it is very convenient and I love using the alternating hot and cold therapy. It also works much better than the ice machines that pump iced water through a pad. I wish I had had this when I had knee replacement surgery as I would have had to deal with ice and filling the tank with water. The battery life is horrible, but it works just fine while plugged in. Don't expect to get more than a single use out of the device if replying on battery power. ... show more

  • Worth every penny!
Style: Knee
I wanted to hate this because it's a bit pricey but it's amazing! I'm 6 weeks post surgery on my knee and I use this at least twice a day for swelling. It's amazing and works great! It's 100% worth the money and extremely easy to use! It helps with swelling, range of motion and pain.

  • Best for Recovering Athlete from an ACL Surgery
Style: Knee
My son loves this! He tore his MCL, Meniscus and ACL. After his surgery he worked hard to get back to his high school basketball team (yes he decided to give up football after the injury). Once he got back to practicing post surgery and rehab he would go to the gym and get in the ice bath to get the swelling down. I tried to determine what he would do on long road games. I found the Hyper Ice X so he could ice on the bus afterwards. For the first few months he used it specifically to ice after working out. I mentioned it had a pre-workout setting where it would alternate between hot and cold. He tried it one time and now he loves it! He does the pre-workout hot and cold and post workout he uses just cold. When we have tournaments with several games in a day he loves it and I usually find a spot to charge it between games. The battery does last pretty long. It is flexible so you can walk on it. Typically my son has it on his knee doing the pre workout on his drive to practice. It is not cheap but it is worth every penny!! So much so I bought another one for my other son!!! ... show more

  • Just not worth the price
Style: Knee
The battery life on this is abysmal. It can barely do two routines without shutting down. The app is also lackluster at best. The battery emblem only has full, half, and empty icon so you really never know how much battery you truly have. The cold therapy is neat, but if you do a contrast routine, it will never cool back down to the proper cold level. It’s like it get so hot it can correct back to cold. The hot can be VERY hot, almost burn your skin if you’re not wearing shorts or pants. I just simply can’t recommend this, too many issues. I sent mine back for a return. ... show more

  • Pricey investment for a great knee heat & cold therapy device!
Style: Knee
Great device for knee injuries! Heat and cold therapy , shortening recovery time. Quite an investment! Worthwhile device, deliver result as expected. Battery charging time need to be improved though! Taking too long to be ready for the next use!

  • Some common major flaws from an otherwise really nice device for cold/hot therapy.
Style: Knee
I'm here because MKBHD recommended this device and he's right, the device is amazing. It works well for cold and hot therapy like magic. However, it's nearly ruined by a few major product design decisions that are really hurting it. - No USB C charging, includes another big brick you need to carry around. Please product designers, STOP DOING THIS NONSENSE. You don't need anything other than USB C in 2025. Stop the endless waste. - Most advanced therapy programs require the app, which is mostly terrible to use, requires a login, and wants all your data. Frankly, this should be illegal, I just want to use your product, I don't need to be tracked, and I don't need an account. You can do some basic features through the single button on the device, but good luck remembering the simon says pattern to get there. Smaller thing worth mentioning. It's top heavy, I've seen some marketing that claims you can walk around. I don't see how that would be possible without it continually sliding down. You're not tethered to power, which is great, but I don't think you'll be doing much walking with it on. ... show more

  • Great device!
Style: Knee
This is one of my best purchases! It is as great for recovery from athletic activiities as it is for pain management from aging!!! App is easy to download and use….I would reccommend this item!
