Bought this to replace another co lock. Probably not right to put them down but it’s one of the vowel starting locks. That lock is nothing but painful. To connect to WiFi or Bluetooth and constant issues with jams or dead batteries because it depleted it fast or loss of connectivity or it just dies in middle of op stranding you etc. This is like 1/3rd the cost and has a fingerprint reader as well. Best feature imo. And it connected and setup in 10m without any issue. WiFi seems stable enough presently and it was easy to add fingerprint as well. Just have to make sure WiFi signal is strong. On con side there’s 2 main ones : take 8 batteries instead of 4 AA and at times you get a brief “abnormal state” and immediate ok. You can control it remotely and add more PIN codes and temp codes and lock with pressing any button for 2s. It’s all very nice. Outside material is strong but inside a more plastic feel. Not too bad but it’s also cheaper. Alexa integration was easy but the routines don’t work in Alexa. Not sure why. Wife likes alert when it is unlocked. Anyway. The app “KK Home” is 120MB and developer seems to be Chinese co but it worked well for me. No complaints. Maybe support might be tough. Overall glad I got this. After a week I got another and will buy 2 more after that and replace all.

Just bought these at an EXCELLENT price. Easy install and the app was also easy to install (was surprised it was a 'KK app' not a 'Teeho app' - but it was still simple to install. My handyman installed it and invited me so this was able to be done remotely - VERY happy with that! I'm testing a lock to see how long the 8 batteries last - I figured that could be a pain point (batteries go dead during a 3 month tenancy at the property). Very easy to connect to the internet. Teeho quality has been steady - I've used them for the past year (we have 5) and they have withstood heat and freezing temps (one was taken out by the rain - the bio version). I've STOPPED using Yale locks (much more expensive line of locks that DO NOT HONOR their warranty). Very happy with this brand, especially with the built in wifi with no additional wifi cartridge, or bridge. Very plug and play. Appreciate that!

I’ve had this lock for about two weeks now with no issues, so far. The lock was so easy to install and works great! The setup was super easy with the app. I got this one to replace the keypad lock on my back door that quit working, it was a different brand that I replaced. I’m going to get one for my front door also! The finger print pad for locking and unlocking is great! You can also use the app for locking and unlocking and checking the status of whether the door is locked or unlocked. Would definitely recommend.

Installation is very easy with very clear instructions. The lock is solid and secure. I was concerned about batter life, but, to my surprise, my first set of batteries lasted over 36 weeks, including a very cold winter, and this on our highest traffic door, which is locked/unlocked many times per day. Integrating the KK Home app with Alexa is very easy. We have a Dot in our garage, which makes it super easy to lock/unlock the door when not in the house.

This is my second Teeho lock, the first being the basic TE002 which worked great. Decided to replace with the TE012W. Replacement was easy as it uses the same mounting plate. Door lock though is not interchangeable due to a different connector. So far so good with the batteries but early days yet. All functioning so far. It is possible to rekey this for SC1 just need to remove the gasket backer plate and the screw holding the lock barrel. App was easy to setup and so far works good although I have noticed some delays in it determining the lock status. WiFi was not an issue for me to configure. Just like previous lock model, good value and for me it works with Google Home with no issues, just needs a PIN configured. Fingerprint usually works but cold weather can cause issues - same with previous model. Also works in cold Northeast winter and previous one in summer temperatures. I’ll update once I have more time to assess battery drain. Battery update. So far so good - about 6 weeks in and all good. Lock still functional through a cold winter. 12 weeks changed batteries. Everything good. Still going strong on rechargeable batteries - second set. I see someone said works fine on four batteries, I am still using eight. 4 months in - still on second set of rechargeables. Fingerprint and keypad working fine. Only small problem was when WiFi went offline and I had to reenter password into the app for it to reconnect.

Installed these in metal clad doors in a 22 year old mobile home. I needed to drill the bolt hole deeper in both door jambs. I have drills and bits, and the instructions advise to check this. I had to recess the deadbolt flange into the edge of the door, which required a sharp chisel and hammer, which satisfactorily cut through the cladding and removed the wood. I have a chisel and hammer. I watched the videos, read the instructions, and found installing the lock was easier and more logical than the instructions made it sound. The front door deadbolt was simple to install in the old dead bolt cut out as the hole was standard size and distance from edge. I followed instructions concerning installing batteries, resetting the lock, letting it learn it's throw, and setting the master code. I added codes for my wife and I, programmed our fingerprints, and tested it several times. I needed to chisel the hole I drilled in the jamb just a bit to give freerer movement. I have installed a number of doors and locks and rebuilt kicked-in door jambs, and that experience made installing this lock a simple chore. The lock worked with fingerprint and codes right away. The back door opens to the outside. It is also metal clad, wood framed with a hard metal edge. The clearance required recessing the flange into the door edge to clear the edge of the metal jamb and to allow placement of the lock in the existing hole. I was able to do this with a carbide metal cutting bit in a Dremel tool. Took awhile, yes. Freehanding a metal cutting bit is difficult to do, at least neatly. It can be done, but I do not recommend it to anyone who is new to using a rotary tool with metal. The recess gave me enough reach to mount the lock in the hole. I did need to remove the shim plate on the lock (a plastic part needed if the hole is a nonstandard size) as the fit was a little off center. I had to use the Dremel tool to take a little metal off the edge of the door jamb so the deadbolt could move freely. The lock installed and works as intended, even though the outward opening door has a slightly different geometry. I am quite happy with the locks. I have not had them long enough to know about battery life yet. I spent twenty bucks on batteries and hope they last. I did key our fingerprints in on each lock multiple times and my fingerprint works first touch every time. I had to repeat my wife's fingerprint setup twice before her fingerprint worked with one touch. The app is easy to set up on phones and tablets. I tired of getting a notification every time the lock was opened or closed and turned notifications off. You may want them. If you have standard doors in good shape and have sound door jambs these locks will install with a screwdriver. You may need a chisel and hammer . You might need a drill for the jambs. If you are at all handy with a few tools installing these locks will be easy.

I have this one in one Airbnb and Eufy in another one. This one is AMAZING, everything via the app remotely connected to wifi, I can add new passwords via wifi with no problems. Battery lasts for a long time, added the batteries in December, still has all 3 /3 baterry marks ( full ), in comparison the eufy one that's double the price, and I thought it would be better, but no, adding new password fail 70% of the time on the eufy one and i need to keep repeating and the battery on the eufy one lasted for about 2-3 months only. THIS IS SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN EUFY !
