First, I bought two of these and both work exactly as stated. The fingerprint reader works perfectly as does the electronic code. As an added bonus it speaks to my wifi and sends me a push notice indicating if/when either door is locked or unlocked, if you want it too, and I do. Also, if necessary, you can use the app to send a temporary code to allow someone to enter if you prefer not to give out a permanent code. I like not having to dig out a key to get into my home anymore. (Same for my cars.) For the record, I did not install mine, but could have because the installation instructions are not that complicated. Instead, I had a locksmith do it for me knowing it would be done perfectly and 100% professionally and it absolutely was. Should have done this long ago.

So easy to install and setup fingerprints and codes. I love the app feature. I do have an issue now with auto lock that has nothing to do with this keypad. When I installed a passage door knob it’s not lining up right so auto lock is not able to work until I fix that.

I bought two of these a month ago and it was very awesome and cool. Comes with phone notifications with options to use fingerprints and etc. Around the 3 weeks (almost 30 days) one of them started malfunctioning. Customer service was very nice and knowledgeable with troubleshooting. I thought everything was resolved but days later issues started coming back. Second time calling customer service then wanted me to take pictures/videos of the error. Then wanted me to send info to some random number they text me from (I don't trust). They told me warrenty will decide if a return/exchange is needed and process takes a week. NOPE I had 7 days left and I refused to be stuck with junk! Cons you may experience/ The main issue I had was that it went completely dead and had no power (no notifications). So it didn't autolock and someone could of walked in my house. Auto lock is 30 secs and up with no option for 1-29 secs. Surges (door can't take unlock/lock to many times in 5-30min session) New batteries may drain quickly Latching power is occasionally weak Beeping gets annoying when lock, unlock, and alarm (not sure if can turn off)

Cheap plastic back plate looks cheap in your home. Also cumbersome to program and did not work properly. Water too much time on this that I am sending it back.
