Fast shipping. It took a while for me to install this doorbell, because of ongoing construction. I placed it nowontheoutsideframe of my front door. It was super easy to "jnstall" because the adhesive is strong enough and dies not need any screws. I plugged the speaker in a regular outlet in my house and it works great. The volume is easy to change and there is a huge variety of doorbell tones to choose from. The only thing I really have to caution, think we'll about where and how high you place the doorbell, because once it's placed itsticks. I did notfully think about it and have it now at shoulder hight, and when I come in with groceries I usually hitthedoorbell with my shoulder, but it's no big deal. I'm really happy with my purchase.

I bought this for my daughter’s class as a gift, her teacher and students loved it! Works great, sound is just loud enough. It adhesives right to the teachers desk so it doesn’t get lost, and the battery life is still going strong. They love that there is such a variety of rings to choose from!

My family and I live in this old house and when we moved in, there was one of those classic button-with-speaker things where you can talk to whoever rang your bell and then theoretically let them in with a push of a button from another floor. Well that shit never worked from day one. Well, let me correct myself... the bell would ring. Someone could actually push the button and then the bell would ring. But then we started getting alerts from friends via text or call saying, "Hey I'm down here ringing the bell and nobody's coming." I guess even that old button went on the fritz. I'm not embarrassed to tell you that I'm not Mr. Handyman. I can hang a picture or a shelf, maybe even fix a toilet, but I'm not up to the task of doing electrical work to rehabilitate this old piece of crap. So I went on Amazon to see what kinds of new tech options there were to choose from. Lucky for me, I found the TECKNET Wireless Doorbell with Bluetooth technology! Of course, I thought to myself... Bluetooth! And for only $17 bucks, how could I go wrong. When the TECKNET Doorbell arrived, I was giddy with excitement. The listing proudly claimed "38 Different Chimes To Choose From!" so I knew we were all in for a treat. The bell itself comes with an adhesive pad that you use to apply to or near your front door. Easy enough. I plugged in the "receiver" near a chair in my living room. Trust me when I tell you, this receiver can be plugged anywhere in the house because you'll hear it VERY clearly when the bell is rung. It wasn't until after I had installed it that I realized you could manage the volume, but for the purposes of this review, let's just say it was on EXTREMELY LOUD during the Chime-choice phase. My wife and kids were standing around ready for this show I promised them was going to be incredible. This was a mistake. Definitely buy this product. It's great. But do NOT make a big show of it when it arrives. Their expectations were sky high and I'll just say many of the Chime sound effect choices are not great. They include the classic "ding dong" and other related styles of sounds, but of course, when someone like me is hunched over the plugged in receiver on his hands and knees, I had to go through all 38 choices! • Ship's Horn • Old School Buggy Horn • Wacky Slide Whistle One after the other, my family stood behind me saying, "NO! Next!" But in order to get back to the one probably EVERYBODY settles on, you have to cycle through all 38 chime options. And keep in mind, it is at the full volume, so when I accidentally went past the actual good ones, my family groaned knowing that I was going to have to go around again with this torture of sound effects. The dog was going absolutely bananas. Only other thing to mention is that there is a little battery in the bell that goes outside of your door. This will probably need to be replaced in about a year. These batteries are those annoying circular ones that you can't get everywhere, so I just went on Amazon and bought a little pack. I guess I should also mention that my kids' backpacks always seem to rub the button each time they come in the house so there's lots and lots of bell-ringing in my house when school is in session.

Some pros are: many chime choices-some loud, some soft, some long, some short. That's all good; easy installation using the double sided tape, coin battery is easy to buy a replacement when needed, range for the push button bell and the base unit seems quite good. Some Cons are: no instruction for mounting with the provided screws and no way to easily open the unit to use the screws, Coin cell battery is not accessible to replace it, when using the double-sided tape for mounting it can be a problem to get the doorbell button off the tape, the a bigger problem to re-use that double-sided tape.

I bought this over 5 years ago now. Then I bought a 2nd one a year after the 1st. Both doorbells are still up and functioning with zero issues. The adhesive has held them in place thru 4+ Michigan winters. The batteries are still the originals. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if either of these ever stop functioning, but like the Mars Rovers they just keep on working well past what I thought their life expectancy would be.
