The product is great until you start mounting it to the vehicle, and you start realizing a week spat between the door jamb hook and the silver strip that tightened down in the system is fragile. The two side hooks on the silver peas start bending by trying to tighten a little extra, and the not that holds the feet need to be replaced with a nylon lock nut. My advice to the manufacturer, 1. The silver strip that goes into the system for tightening needs to be redesigned into a V hook style where it attaches to the door jamb hook, and the top of the hook needs to be somewhat anchored down to the silver strip itself, so it does not loosen down during tightening 2. Door jamb hook hole needs to be dropped further down for Extra Strength with 10 degrees angle option if needed. 3. The feet nuts need to be replaced with nylon lock nuts, and feet need to be reinforced with steel or with extra plastic cone style fill 4. The anchor silver strip goes inside into the system for tightening. The backside of it needs to be filled with extra Steel to strengthen the grid for stronger tightening. If those things get redesigned correctly, in my personal opinion, it'll be the best roof rack on the market capable of carrying a 150LB load and having unlimited wind gust resistance. Slavic D.

I have a Yakima wind shield on the front that I doubt would hold up in a car wash. This mounting I take off and put on within 60 seconds. I go to the car wash and I unlocked the driver side just a little. That allows me to remove and place in my trunk. I go through the car wash and then I’m able to connect the passenger side and tighten on the driver side within seconds. I eye ball where the feet line up in my sunroof and it’s done. Its low profile is nice. Very sturdy. For the price I’d buy it again

The quality of the materials i you Roof Rack is very high, the design components that affect strength first class, the ratchet mechanism design is terrible. Getting the ratchet to work is hit or miss and difficult to actually accomplish but part of that is because the documentation is so difficult to read, the pictures are too small to see any detail and what I am seeing is not accurately represented in the documentation. The worst thing of all is that metal ratchet strap orientation is , front to back, is absolutely critical and is not even described in the documentation. I put the whole rack together and could not get it to work at all. Only a reply to my posting from one of you previous customers warned to flip the strip over made the product work at all. Without that help I would have put everything back in the box and taken a credit. I'm still using trial and error to get the rack on and off my vehicle.

I got this because I couldn’t find any others to fit my Hyundai Veloster. These work great. They are locked on the roof solidly and I have taken 4 surfboards on them with no problems. Once you put them on and off, and get used to locking them down tight you will be able to make them very secure. I did have to get aero bars covers because the surfboards don’t clear the rooftop antenna without them. These are solid and study and do everything expected. Other reviewers have mentioned the noise, and they will make more noise, although it is quieter with the padded covers on them. The only problem that I run into is: because the racks vibrate on my roof when I am driving, when I use my car’s Bluetooth phone people can’t hear me as well. Because the car’s microphone is on the Inside of the roof. I end up using my earbuds to take calls when the racks are up. I can still hear them fine but they complain about me.

So it does not fit my 2015 Chevy sonic sedan. It was my fault that I didn’t measure, but I made it work. I cut off 3 inches from each cross bar in order to make it work. Very sturdy so far. Holds my 10ft kayak easy. Does not move on highway going high speed (60-75mph). Kinda noisy above 20mph, but you can get the wind guard or make one. Overall good product.
