I like doing things around the house. I'm not always good at it, but mostly. The directions were hard to decipher for a lay person. I re-read several times and still didn't understand. Finally I just dove it and did what made sense and that worked. It's a quality piece. I had no problem plugging my light in and everything fit in the box. It may fall apart, but for now it's super. The price was awesome. Even with a rough start I am happy with this purchase.

Installation was straight forward. I used it for temporary electrical connection on an outdoor shed and use an extension cord to bring power through the thin garden shed wall. It seemed appropriate to strengthen the wall of the shed with a piece of plywood to assure the wall was strong enough for the leverages possibly caused by extension cord and to be sure the mounting bolts would not pull through the shed wall.

Installed easily in under 2 minutes (which worried me as I’m no handyman). The insulated foam back fits snuggly against our textured wall and makes it waterproof and good to go. Construction of the door is a little crickety and flimsy, but it works well enough and seals water tight (and it is value priced $8.00 Chinese goods, so you have to accept that).
