I never write reviews but I was thoroughly impressed with this product! I’ve struggled with my green tank for so long, despite everything I had tried. Until! I stumbled across this. It’s been a game changer. It worked quickly eliminating the green. Photos are taken April 2nd-6th. April 10th and today April 23rd. I ran it for 24 hours until about the 10th and then switched to 3 hours and it’s been clear since! It is a bit loud and bulky but I’ll take that over a green tank any day. Delivered 3 days ago. I did a 10% water change that day before installing it. Ran it without the yellow filter at the 24hrs setting for 3 days. Completely clear now. Turned it off and will stay off for a couple days so I can see what builds back up. I plan on running it on the 3hr setting for daily maintenance. Maybe less depending on how the tank reacts. This thing is the real deal! If you change about 30% of the water and let this filter do its s thing you will be good. It is extremely powerful. This is a good buy!

Size: More Powerful for 40-150 Gallon
I bought this to use in my converted deep freeze to cold plunge and have been using about 30 days. This pump is rated for up to 120 gallons, I’m using bt 75-100 gallons. It does a fair job of water displacement and does well at catching debris in the filter. It’s probably better suited for 50-75 gallons, for my purpose. For aquarium use, it’s probably well suited. I really only have 2 issues; 1. The sponge filter decinegrates after 30 days, will need replacements for long term use; 2. The suction cups lose their suction after about 3 weeks. I absolutely love this filter/air bubbler. It works great and my fish seem to love it as well. Only thing I have a problem with is that the washer in between the connection has snapped, now the air flow is not as strong as it use to be. My tank has all live plants and I have to clean the filter once a week. I have a delima do I buy a new one, or can I find the washer? I did post a photo of the washer and video showing air flow, but I don't see it. ... show more
