So this filter has decent flow rate and the UV sterilizer function is nice. This is not a primary filter though. With only having a single foam pre-filter material you would want to use this as an auxiliary unit. Mounts easy, quiet, sleek. The attachments were sort of useless as the adjustable angled piece is too weak to maintain adjustment and the air tube isn't adjustable. Overall good product, could be made to work great if someone has time and a little diy knowledge. My application didn't need the extra stuff so it works good for me. Using it as a 3rd filter for a 140g aquatic turtle tank primarily for the UV function. ... show more

Time tells all. I've included two photos, a before and after, taken one month apart. Initially, I was worried, as I did not see noticeable results within a couple of days. After a week, water clarity had improved but was still not crystal clear. Pleased to say after two weeks the results were in! The media could not be loaded. I have had this filter in my tank as an extra hand for my bigger filter I liked it did the air bubbles and the uv light but after about three days I noticed a bunch of stuff on back where it’s sucks up stuff which I wasn’t surprised bc I have a turtle and an Oscar in my 75 gallon tank but what I didn’t like was when I went to remove the filter everything it was sucking up came right back out into the water so it’s pretty much pointless it’s in my opinion no filtration whatsoever more for the air bubbles I suppose wouldn’t but this if you were only planning on using this for ur only means to filter because it won’t do u any good ... show more
