Size: Powerful for 80-200 Gallon No Timer
I got this for our turtle and it seems to be doing a great job at keeping his terrarium clean. His tank is 40 gallons and I ordered the 80-200 gallon filter. (You should order one that is at least 2x bigger than the tank.-Preferably 3x.) The flow is really strong, so i turned it sideways and angled it so it points a bit more towards the bottom of the tank. It took him a few days to get used to it because it is strong and his food moves around more. However, the water moves more like the flow of a creek or river now, so it seems more like a natural habitat. You do have to disassemble it to clean it, and it is difficult to rinse the sponge, but that is expected since it is reusable.

THIs filter is amazing my tank was gross could . this was an easy set up basically plug and play i love it cleaned my tank up nicely . this was well worth the money we spent on it . I rarely write reviews, but this filter absolutely deserves one. My aquarium had a full-blown algae bloom—thick, murky green water that looked like a swamp. It was stressing out my fish and my little freshwater lobster, who suddenly stopped exploring and just hid all day. I was desperate for help. Enter this filter: within 24 hours, the water looked halfway normal. By 48 hours, it was crystal clear. I honestly wish I had taken before-and-after photos—the transformation was that dramatic. The difference is mind-blowing. It was super easy to install, and when I emailed the company with a question about the UV bulb, they replied almost immediately with kind, helpful customer service. This is hands-down one of the best things I’ve ever purchased on Amazon—amazing price, powerful results, and great support. So, so grateful. This filter is absolutely amazing. We just started our fish tank journey. We initially purchased a 10 gallon tank with a filter, air bar, etc. Both of our fish died within the first two weeks, and the water got dirty so fast, no matter what additives we added, nothing worked. Now with this filter, the tank is beyond clean, it’s been 4 days, and we haven’t had to do anything. We keep at a low level since it can work for up to a 40 gallon tank. But it’s truly amazing. Highly recommend it to everyone. Update: just added a picture of day 5. Just keep getting better and better. A+++

I had doubts after 8-9 days of cloudy green water. Had the old filter running as well. Once I saw a little bit clearer I turned down the frequency and turned off the other filter. Now I’m looking at a tank full of Aqua fine’ crystal clear water. Super easy to start. I lowered it in the tank and it stuck hard to the surface of glass. Bubble keep the fish constantly clowning around. More than worth it. But will see how long the sponge filter lasts as well as the light. Unfortunately after 6 months the flow can’t be controlled and it is way too much. The fish are going crazy and there’s no communication I can find out what to do.
