I really wanted to love this jacket because the design concept is great, but the fit didn’t quite work for me. It felt too boxy overall and flared outward in the back when worn unbuttoned, which wasn’t the silhouette I was hoping for. The material was also thinner than expected based on the photos. If you’re looking for a more tailored look, I’d recommend sizing down. Just keep in mind that doing so may result in sleeves that feel too short, especially if you plan to roll them to show the plaid detailing. Ultimately, this may work better for someone who prefers a looser, boxier fit, but it wasn’t the right match for my body type. The jacket is exactly what I wanted to wear with jeans and pants. It is true to size, well made, lightweight and the checked lining is very nice and shows when turning the sleeves up. Very glad I made the purchase.
