The Taili shower grab bar set up was very quick. The physical therapist who recommended the product cleaned the bar's suction pads and the surface where bar would attach in the shower stall. She then lined up the bar and moved the levers to engage the suction pads to hold it in place. These levers are stiff to do but PT person was strong enough to do it. We then tested the bar and it was very solid on the shower wall we could not pull it off. The physical therapist said this bar works well on smooth shower walls ( like figerglass insert showers) rather than tiled walls where grout lines would not allow the suction cups to stick properly. So I am pleased with the Taila grab bar products strength and its quality well made feel.

I had a recent knee replacement. This allows me to step in and out of the shower with much more confidence. Also, when standing to shave my legs with one leg up on the bench. Such a small price to pay for so much stability. It did come unstuck once, so I give 4 stars.

Unfortunately there comes a time in most lives where the you need a little extra help. My mom has reached that time. She was feeling unstable when showering and the tub enclosure just didn't have spots where she could hold on. These suction bars were very successful in helping her feel steady inside the tub when showering. She said that she didn't really realize how much of a difference it would make by having some grab handles to help her feel more confident and comfortable. These installed easily on a fiberglass tub surround. So far, they haven't moved at all. If the need arises, I wouldn't hesitate to get another set of these handles.

This grab bar fits firmly on my tiled wall providing me with a safe secure handhold for me. My shower is too small for a chair, so I can hold my grab bar when lifting up a foot to wash without fear of slipping and falling while standing on the other foot. Previously my foot had slipped while doing this and it scared me. It made me realize how easy it is to slip and fall and hurt yourself. So glad I have it now; I feel so much safer.

So far, the installation is holding. i'll comment on the grab bars stability 90 days from now - - then we'll see how well the suction pads work. Hopefully, they will be as stable as they are now. A 5-star rating can't be given now since the installation is only 1 day old. Do they work like the directions indicate? Well, that will prove itself in the next 90 days - - only time will tell!
