Came in as promised. Charge the solar panel and the Battery prior to setting them up. I love the tactical products, and have been using for several years. Get pics sent straight to my phone.

All my other products came fully charged. These did not. I was out in the woods trying to install when i figured this out. Otherwise i love them

Love the camera and lithium battery pack. The solar panels do not do the job. You need the folding solar panels offered

I can not complain about the quality of the photos the cameras take. Even the night time photos show clear definition. The cameras are easy to install and start working right away. My problem is with the "instruction manual" and "customer service" if you want to call them that. Downloaded from the Tactacam website, the "manual" is more concerned with getting the buyer to down load their app and buy a subscription. Nowhere in the "manual" does it tell the purchaser to pre charge the lithium battery, nor HOW to do it. Nowhere in the "manual" does it tell the buyer the solar charging panels also have to be charged before use. Charging a solar panel, who would have thought? So if you buy one of these, on the side of the battery pack is a mini usb port. This is used with a wall charger. When the lights come on solid the battery is charged. Do not use the USB port on the front of the camera. (found this out LATER). The solar panel has a mini usb port in the base. when the four lights come on solid the solar panel is charged. After everything is charged, then you can install the cameras. How did I learn about charging the batteries? Through multiple emails with Tactacam customer service. One battery went down to 1% and stayed there. I sent an em to them asking why this was. I was told to charge the batteries, so I plugged the mini usb into the only port on the camera. Well that was wrong as a subsequent em from Tactacam revealed. Been nice if they had told me about taking the battery out and looking for the mini usb port. I spent 32 minutes on hold with "customer service" before hanging up. I contacted them through facebook messenger. I contacted them at 1203 on 16 Dec. " I will connect you with the first available support agent, please standby" My reply came the NEXT DAY. I finally resorted to emailing the company. After about six back and forths, these things are straightened around. The PRO 3.0 is a good set up. The "Instruction Manual" is woefully inadaquate. I am not impressed with their customer service for reasons stated.

I used to be a huge fan until they upgraded their app. I use my cameras for security in my 1/4 mile long driveway. Their app freezes on my phone and I have tried for months to get this fixed. I am going to be forced to buy a different product since I no longer feel secure due to the app issues. I must restart my phone several times a day in order to see pics. When you think someone is in your driveway, that is not the time to restart your phone. Although their support has been great in the past, they are unable to solve this issue. I am supper disappointed and I pay about $500+ a year for the service.
