I purchased two of these, one for myself and one for my son. Pro's-easy to see red LED screen, focus aperture, comfortable grip, continuous scan mode, great profile that slides into my range finder pouch very easily. I was able to scan out to 650 yds with ease. Very good in low light situations and on unusual angles (for instance where two hills intersect that have varying distances).     • Red display rocks!
This thing is a steal, priced well below all other red readouts, and below many laser rangefinders that have black displays... which are impossible to see. This rangefinder is easy to read even in bright Arizona sun, and is vivid red. It has line of sight, angle modified range, buckmaster (horns) and MOA modes. The horns only display if you choose buckmaster, and the info displayed for each mode is clear, bright, and "clean"... it's not a busy or crowded display. The MOA setting is great, giving you holdover adjustment in MOA based on your cartridge load. The only negative is that it doesn't come with a case, but seeing as it is almost $100 less than your average 1000-1500yd rangefinder with black (hard to see) digits, I don't care! New buckmaster just arrived and wouldnt turn on. Found a 3 year old battery totally dead. Will purchase a replacement locally and hope it works. Bought sig because its a local biz.

Bought this for estimating a fence length on my brother-in-law's farm, and it was spot on relative to a measuring wheel, with some runs up to 500 yards! I then used it for deer hunting and found I was really under-estimating the distance to the deer. So I've now recalibrated my brain with the help of the Sig and have been much more successful in my shot placement. ... show more

Good product, however i ordered one it came with a CR2 lithium battery that was dead. I ordered a new one and same thing. Spent $12 on a battery myself. Not a big deal but if it comes with a battery you shouldnt have to pay for one.
