I’d go with a 5 but the one door isn’t flush with the side but I’ll fix that. I have to say overall I’m really impressed. The directions were great, fit and finish was over expectations, even the top dropped right in with the many pins. I am going to remove the two front black feet, I assume this is part of the anti “tip over” government mandated requirement. For the price point I’m really happy. 2hr build. Just be careful not to over tighten the cam locks on the drawer fronts, I did have a blow out there but that was my bad. The drawers will be suitable for towels and other lightweight items, coffee filters, storage bags, etc.

I was actually pleasantly surprised when this heavy box arrived and while the exterior box was a bit scuffed up, the interior contents were actually well-preserved, so they get full stars for packaging contents to prevent damage. Unfortunately, the hardware included is the lowest grade steel cams I've ever seen and many of the cams sheared off / broke / snapped as I was assembling the unit with the correct size phillips screw driver by hand (Just to highlight, they broke by HAND tightening, no power tools used, literally so brittle that they snapped by one hand on a phillips screwdriver) ... so now I'll be heading to a local hardware store to see if I can find some replacement furniture Cams not made from the crappiest-casting-method possible so I can fully assemble this unit. Lastly, the TINY tube of wood glue they give you is also way too small for the amount of dowels that require glue, so if you buy this, grab an extra bottle of wood glue so you don't run out half way through assembly. Aside from that, it's a "decent" press-board REPLICA of real furniture, It SUBSTANTIALLY lacks stability due to being made of cheap press-board & VERY soft connection points; So if you buy this, I hope you're handy with wood repairs, are able to source better hardware and good luck not shearing cams as seen in the attached pic!!

Well I do like this piece. There was a couple of reasons why I gave it this rating 3.5. First we had a problem with 1 of the locking screws it broke and the spare wouldn't go in all the way. Second, I put this together with my son. There was a problem with the drawer not shutting all the way. I couldn't see the problem right away so I emailed the company. I haven't received a message back yet. It's been 5 days. I ended up figuring out it was a error putting it together on my end. Fixed it but I'm a little annoyed as if I didn't figure it out I would have a product that I couldn't open the doors to this unit on because the drawer wouldn't shut.(the drawers have to be shut all the way in order to slide the barn style doors open). Box was 120+ lbs. My autistic son helped me put this together. It took us about 5 hours to put it together. Overall I would recommend this. Hopefully, you do not need to contact customer service because so far it's non existent.

Overall this is a good cabinet for the value. We bought it as an entertainment center and will be keeping it. The only downfall is that the (I'm not sure what to call it - pattern? surface? finish?) exterior is very obviously fake. In the photos, it looks like a real wood finish. In reality, you can very clearly tell it's MDF with essentially wood-pattern wallpaper on it. If that's super important to you, I'd pass. If you're fine with that for the price point, it's a good buy. *Quick note on the hardware issue a lot of other people complain about in the reviews: I had been hesitant to purchase this when I saw others who posted videos showing that the barn door cabinets wouldn't clear the drawer handle hardware. When my husband assembled everything (which he did by himself in about 2 hours, not difficult), ours worked fine and I said I was glad we didn't have that issue. He showed me that the squares that go behind/around the handles as decoration have outdents on the corners. His guess was that people who had this issue installed those squares backwards, with the outdents facing toward the drawer rather than facing out. The clearance on the handles is very close and if you install those backwards, that could make the difference between the barndoors clearing the drawer hardware or not. Installed correctly, they open just fine.
