Love the idea of a gospel related music album and DVD of the legendary Whitney Houston. Being a die hart Whitney fan I love everything that is related to Whitney. If you have never listened to the Preacher's Wife Album of Whitney then this will be an absolute delight for you. It contains a lot of the wonderful gospel songs that had been recorded for this marvelous movie from 1996. I love the live performances, expeciallly "This Day" from 1995, He can use me and I Believe, are one of my favorite songs on the album. As for the DVD I love the concept with the talented Cece Winans commentating Whitney's journey in gospel music, as well as all the other famous singers and her family, who share their experience when they worked with Whitney throughout her career. But the one thing I did not like with the DVD and where I withdrew one star is the fact, that the songs throughout this documentary never were fully played. I would have loved to listen to the whole song without interruption. Also I was wondering that her famous cousin Dionne Warwick was not part of this documentary. Other then that I highly recommend this DVD to any Whitney Houston fan. ... show more
