Works as it should and pumps water very well. Has good water pressure and I have three 100 foot hoses connected together. I have it hooked up to a remote connection so I can turn the pump on and off without having to unplug it. I was surprised that it will run a while without water pumping through it as I thought it turned it off on my phone. Only to find out when I put the phone back in my pocket I must have accidentally turned it back on. Of course the hand held sprayer was shut off and I had laid it down. When I got back to the water tank to shut off the valve I found the pump was running. I didn’t know it was still running because it is very quiet. Need to rework my plumbing. Had a West Marine version of a 3.0 gallon Flojet. Those are solid pumps, but I always found them noisy and opted for the Shurflo brand, which are much quieter, but have gotten almost laughingly expensive. So I thought I'd give this pump a try, as it is the same design as the ShurFlo. Boy am I pleasantly surprised! It is so quiet! Maybe even quieter than the Shurflo, which is doubtful as I don't have a way to compare on this boat. Great water flow. I'm using it in conjunction with their matching accumulator tank, which is small and easy to fit in my space. We will see if it lasts, but I'm sold. Great value and performance. ... show more

Cant say i am super happy with this. i purchased late last year, and it took me a few months to get around to actually installing it. unfortunately, after install it only lasted for a little over a month before it completely quit working. not a long draw, and or push for the set up i have. i had high hopes it would at least last 6 months. but not even making it 2 months is very disappointing. maybe i got a faulty pump, id be willing to give it another chance in hopes thats the case. if i do happen to get another and it works out, ill happily change my review. however at this time, my suggestion is to find something a little better. ... show more

This has been really great for getting water out of my rain barrel. You can hear when water is about to run out so you have time to shut it off. It pumps a decent amount it water with pressure.
