I've got fine silky hair so finding an iron that'll hold a piece of it has been quite the effort so I pulled the trigger and spent more than usual for this iron and I'm fine with that because this thing does the job beautifully. I'm also a natural blond so high heat is a big no no and this has a lower heat setting also so a win there too. Even though my hair is fine I've got a lot of it and getting those beachy waves by grabbing smaller chunks of hair is a breeze for me with this iron and I don't mind admitting that I'm a total feebe with styling appliances of all kinds but I got the results I'd given up trying for the first time I used this iron. Although it holds my hair I have zero problems sliding & curling down a hair section when I need to curl that way. I've seen how high irons can be priced so I guess this is mid range but to me it's pricey but worth every penny. ... show more

I had to use this curler for a few months before leaving a review. It’s the easiest I have used so far, the hair glides through well. You can control the temperature but I feel like it gets too hot even on the lowest setting. It does…pull out fine hair so I guess it’s better for course hair, I use it on my wigs btw. The size of the barrel is long, but I find it really heavy. My arm hurts after curling a whole head, I wish it was lighter. It’s good quality and the curls hold well. ... show more

I wanted to love this. I was so excited. But I have short hair and the curls were impossible to create with this barrel. I am going to try a smaller size. This iron is so well crafted and sleek just didn't work for me 😭
